The wait is over! The question over how exactly viral sensation Rebecca Black would follow-up her unexpected success with “Friday” has come to an end—the Read the full post.
It’s not as awfully good as Friday. It attempts to be serious and it’s awful. Also the song makes no sense to me. The music does not flow from chorus to verse at all. Also, if she’s addressing “haters”, was there someone on this earth who actually thought Friday was quality music?? That’s news to me
Anybody else notice that the musical notes to the word “moment” are the same notes as the notes to Friday? (And the same notes as Bieber’s “Baby,” the song they are both trying to emulate?)
Anyone find it funny that she has waited her “whole life” for this moment? Isn’t she like 13? Her knowledge of the world is pretty limited given her age. I think it might be better if she sang, “I’ve been waiting 3 years for this moment.”
I think it would be a win win situation if they cast her on Glee! Some of the other singers there are just so so…good promo for both parties I think! Plus, gotta fill the shoes of the departing cast anyways?!?!
After watching this, I can’t help but think…why does everybody bash her, yet worship Kes$ha? Ke$ha’s doing everything the same (I’m not saying GaGa because I love GaGa. Yeah, big deal) that Rebecca’s doing. They both think that they’re good and are making music.
Personally though, I’m extremely disappointed. I was hoping for something SO bad that I would like it, like Friday. This sounds like it’s actually trying to sound good..
Did EW start taking submissions from a local high school newspaper music columnist? Except for the very end where the author acknowledges “Friday” was stupid, this reads like we’re all on the Rebecca Black bandwagon, when most are just rubbernecking at the bloody train wreck.

Absolutely horrible.
Dull song. Friday was no masterpeice, but at least it was bad enough to be able to listen to. This is just so dull and unentertaining.

Sounds like a song fished straight out of Justin Bieber’s dumpster.
I bet Lea Michelle’s rolling in her grave right now. Wait, what?
She looks a lot like a cross between Danielle Brisebois and Danica McKellar–don’t who those are kids? Look them up!

Moments, by definition, don’t last long.
