Believe it not, Pearl Jam‘s debut album 10 celebrates its twentieth birthday this August.
Fittingly, the band and Oscar-winning director Cameron Crowe have been working on PJ20, a documentary due for release this fall.
Today they revealed its trailer, featuring rare and unseen footage of the iconic Seattle rockers and in-depth interviews with mates Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard, and Jeff Ament among others, covering their rise to fame and subsequent rocky adjustment to the spotlight, and how they learned to soldier on as one.

Can’t wait. Two things I love, Pearl Jam and Cameron Crowe. PJ20 looks amazing.
Loved this band since I was 17.Awesome to see the early footage
Can’t believe it’s been 20 years. I was 12 when it came out. Time flies. Ten is still one of my favorite albums. 20 years of great music.
I can’t wait to see this! Pearl Jam is my favorite band ever. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since I first heard them…
Awesome! Can’t wait. I do feel really, really old now.
And, David Lynch what?
man – i feel old. I was in college when this came out.
Right there with you, anon. Saw them as part of Lollapalooza (when it used to be a tour) in the summer of 1992. Even met Eddie on the grounds of the event!
I’M SO EXCITED!!!
One of my all time favorite bands with one of my favortie directors. What’s not to love. Plus my city is on the list of screenings. Score! This almost makes up for the fact that I didn’t get to see their last tour-but not quite.
Why is Cameron Crowe wearing a David Lynch costume?
GAH.. I WANNA SEE THIS SOOO BAD! I hope it plays near my crappy-ass town!
No Ohio at all?!
((((((
This looks epic…
Who gives a flying fk about this stupid 90′s band! Their music is boring, recycled pop-rock. People say Eddie Vedder is “among the greatest artists of the twentieth century.” This is the stupidest comment ever printed. Pearl Jam sucks! I will never understand why people glorify this band as being so great. Pearl Jam has barely had two hits off their last three albums. Just consider this: three albums of horrible music, hardly good enough to be played on the radio! Wow, Vedder must be a musical genius! Pearl Jam are rock gods! I don’t freakin’ think so! If having one good album (Ten), and two mediocre albums (Vs and Vitalogy) entitles Pearl Jam to have “legendary” status, I guess we can compare U2 with Beethoven!
That is harsh man. Just because you are not a fan just means be a pleasent human being and keep you mouth shut.
loved this band,still ALIVE……
