Joe Jonas drops new single 'Love Slayer'

Joe Jonas may be “on his worst behavior,” but from where we’re standing, his bad side sounds pretty darn good.

“Love Slayer,” a spiffy new single from Jonas’ Oct. 11 album FastLife, was released online today. (Have a listen here at the AOL Music Blog.)

The 21-year-old’s clubby, Taio Cruz-esque ode to an irresistible “stone-cold dream stealer,” is the second release off of FastLife; Jonas’ “See No More” is already available on iTunes, though he’s also performed songs from FastLife in his live shows this summer.

JoBro No. 2 has been a busy kid lately (seriously, our Jonas Sonar has just about bleep-blurped itself to death these last few weeks): Apparently when he’s not busy putting out hot records, protectively haunting Olivia Wilde’s house, or paying zero attention to Shia LeBeouf, he’s hanging out with Britney Spears.

As reported on People.com, Jonas joined Spears and Nicki Minaj on their Femme Fatale tour for a show in New Jersey on Aug. 5, and announced last week that he’s signed on to play 10 shows on the European leg of the tour, starting Oct. 16.

What do you think, Music Mix readers? Is Joe’s new bad-boy persona a little grown-up for the onetime teen sensation? Or is Joe bad and perfectly good at it? Let us know in the comments!

The pic of him in that link rules, but no this song is does nothing.

I prefer See No More but they’re both forgettable.

So far, I’ve been much more impressed with his brother Nick’s solo effort with his band The Administration last year. Nick has such a unique voice that was matched so well with some very solid original songs. Judging from the first two singles, Joe’s voice and music doesn’t really stand out to crowded pop music field. Hopefully, the rest of his album will deliver.

I like Joe Jonas but not so much this song. I’m really hating the club/techno song now. It’s gone on too long as it is. Bring back real live instruments and some funky beats and live singing.

He can slay my bubble butt.

    I LIKE IT!!! A LOT

Love this song. It’s not really a single, as in it will be on the radio/iTunes. It’s going to be exclusively a club remix at the moment. It’s already had a remix done by some very famous remixers and it has been very successful. Joe has always been a “bad boy”, he’s just had to do it in private. He’s 22 years old. He can live as he wants.

Joe is grasping for straws trying to show us he has talent alone. He should stick with his brothers. They cover for his flaws. Yes, Nick had solid writing and solid songs. Joe doesn’t appear to have much but the backing of his management team.

I love this song! I’ve been playing several of his recent live performances of it on repeat for weeks. He sang it at B96 Summerbash in Chicago as the first song he ever performed off his ne album. And he sang it at the B. Spears concert recently in Jersey at Izod. I fell in love with it seeing these youtube videos.

Shiny wonder bread man sings “Love Slayer” in the company of “Ear Slayer” Tricky Facade and her botched plastic surgery laden sex robot body. How appropriate. You know these people are two sides of the same coin; perhaps people would write better songs if the public realized how stupid they are for falling for these action figures again and again.

I absolutely love his new style!!
He is totally gonna be better than jobros all the way!

Joe jonas is really cute and I would love to meet him, but that’s impossible because I’m from south africa.

Nick’s vocals are so much better than Joe’s. Joe’s music is so generic & a one time listen, Nick is original & different & even if the song isn’t all that good, I listen just for Nick’s singing.

Thank you for some other magnificent article. Where else may anybody get that kind of info in such an ideal manner of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am at the search for such information.
