He makes us dance, he makes us laugh, he makes us rock our bodies in ways we never thought possible—let’s be real here, Justin Timberlake can make us do just about anything.
This fall, the 30-year-old star will put his powers to good use by co-hosting the fourth annual Justin Timberlake & Friends concert, this year dubbed the Old School Jam, a benefit for the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
The concert, scheduled for Oct. 1 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, is part of Timberlake’s weeklong men’s pro golf tournament, also held to benefit Shriners.
He will co-host the show with comedian Wayne Brady, with a performance lineup that features artists hand-picked by Timberlake for their influence on him: Earth, Wind & Fire, Charlie Wilson, Vanilla Ice, the Commodores, the Sugar Hill Gang, Sister Sledge and Color Me Badd.
According to a rep for the event, the last three Old School Jam concerts have raised over $1 million for the Shriners Hospital network.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. PST and range in price from $100 to $500 plus applicable live entertainment tax. They can be purchased at the Theatre for the Performing Arts box office at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

When is this guy going to go back to making music? He is one of the best male pop artists yet he abandoned all his fans that got him to this place in his life.
He is funny on SNL, occasionally. The guy is nothing special as an actor, but he has three movies this year (Bad Teacher, Friends w/Benefits and In Time).

Did you happen to miss the word “Concert”? You realize Timberlake sings at these shows right? And if Justin wants to branch out and take advantage of his youth while in Hollywood, then what’s it to you? Maybe you like doing the same thing over and over again, day in and day out. If I had his talent I’d explore every possibility too. And remember, Justin started off ACTING not singing. Mickey Mouse Club anyone?

I thought the first paragraph was a joke, then I understood that people can say anything without evidence and still be believable. What an amazing skill. Am I to understand that “Justin Timberless Rake” can restore our salmon population? No? I thought he could do “anything.” Delusion. Madness.
His music will “Rot Your Body” and create a hole similar to Esctasy in your brain that allows other pop idols to invade your headspace.
If you don’t like him, or his music.. then why troll around reading articles about him? Just so you can feel powerful and smart for having a keyboard? Come on dude… Timberlake is very talented and very successful, you don’t have to like him to realize that simple fact.
