Two years after dropping her last project, American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson is set to release her fifth album. She just announced that the set, entitled Stronger, will hit stores Oct. 25.
Its lead single, “Mr. Know It All,” is set to premiere Sept. 5 after she hosts a live webcast on her revamped site KellyClarkson.com. The two-time Grammy winner has sold millions of records in the U.S. and is no stranger to hit records.

My December is the first and only album I’ve ever purchased by Kelly Clarkson. “Maybe”, “Sober”, “Be Still” are just masterpieces.
Coldplay vs. Drake vs. Kelly= KABOOM!
That’s going to be a tight competitive week with those three having their albums the same date. I’m looking forward to Drake’s second album as well as Kelly’s 5th.
But Coldplay will undoubtedly win with Drake coming in a close second perhaps. No offense to Kelly, but she’ll need to change her release date ASAP if she wants to come close to the top spot.
I agree but sadly unless Kelly’s single flops completely or Drake moves his album up, since he’s already released 2 singles, I doubt any of them will change their release dates. Coldplay is signed to Captiol, Drake to Young Money/Universal and Kelly to Sony/BMG…they’re all competitors which is why I dont see any of them changing street dates. And pop radio is already supporting Coldplay’s “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall”, with another single expected next month…so like I said, unless Kelly flops BIG TIME, I think that date is gonna kick off the holiday 4th quarter release bonanza.
I was worried about the release date at first when I found out that it will be released on the same day as Coldplay & Drake and yeah having a #1 album would be great but look at ‘Breakaway’ it debuted at #3 and it ended up being the fifth best selling album of 2005 and won Kelly a grammy.

Yes, I am super excited! I hope this album is more like My December than All I Ever Wanted, but I know I’ll like it no matter what because it’s Kelly. Best voice of today by far!

October 25th! I’m marking it down! I’m looking forward to Kelly Clarkson’s new album as well as the new single! I can understand why it took a year for her to record it and get it right. And that Mr. Know It All probably takes where Since U Been Gone and My Life Would Suck Without You left off with the I’m through with you anger approach to her two timing man! I hope she does some more songs with Ryan Tedder, Howard Benson and Max Martin, who handled the best songs on her last album.
She is one of my favorites female singers out there, especially after I saw her singing UP TO THE MOUNTAIN on IDOL GIVES BACK, gosh, her version moves me just as much as PATTY GRIFFIN’s version. Kelly can sings anything and you know it will sound good. Can’t wait what she’ll put on the shelf next.
