I am very sorry for the families and friends that lost loved ones in this tragic event. Although I am not sure what I think about a lawsuit.
I don’t think the stage setup was faulty in the way it was put together one bit. What do you expect when 70+mph winds come through? That’s like suing when a tornado tears apart your house and saying the house was built faulty. The people that do stage setup have done it for years, it was no neglect on their part. I will say, people in charge of the whole thing should issued an evacuation and canceled the show. But also, some people need to make their own best judgement and get out of the way when they see a storm coming and not rely on others to tell them when something dangerous is coming. Not blaming the victims one bit, I’m just saying, I really don’t think pinning the blame on anyone will bring any comfort or peace.
