i absolutely loved it. i was hoping jo would open the show last night, but i wasn’t expecting the theater bit…….i LOVED it! and the dance sequence was awesome, as usual! another side of gaga – and she embraced it. i was all smiles and never once got tired of it. we might never see jo again and i was enjoying every minute of it while he was on stage. kudos to gaga yet again.

It was horrible. I actually stopped watching the event because of the original monologue. It wasn’t funny or interesting and everyone kept cheering so loud at the end of every line.
It was annoying. She’s not a comedian and should stick to just singing her dance pop songs. Her acting during the Britney tribute was just bizarre.

I hate how lady gaga has changed. She use to be “weird” in an artistic, polished, there’s-a-method-to-her-madness kind of way, but now she is just trying too hard. Using this alter ego is just silly to me. I understand her though since now everyone in a music video looks like her, but still, she can do better than just “I can’t top myself so I’ll become someone else”
I will take over the top to boring any day. I wasn’t bored because I never know what Gaga is going to do next.
I think that is what freaked a lot of the audience out-you just never know how far she is going to take it. If she is just a comedian, it would have been annoying, but she is just as talented musically as anyone in the theatre.
I think she was inspired by some on the crazy over the top routines that Jim Carrey did in years past.
Years from now I think the 2 most talked about things from this show will be Gaga’s act and Beyonce’s pregnancy reveal.
Nothing else will stand the test of time in my opinion.
I’d bet the entire farm on the fact that Adele will be putting out new music long after Gaga has faded into the dust bin of pop culture!
It was unwatchable! I had to turn it off. She will do anything to distract us from her crappy music. Looks like the jerk who works at the gas station near my house.

If you wanted to put together a show where the greatest narcissist in the world were in one room playing to an audience of millions who wished they had a life then this is it. There is little more to this than persons having to look at an accident on the road. The stranger the better I guess. A few minutes on the low light reel is enough for me…..too much in fact.
Borinnng adele all she does is sit and sing her vocals are not bad but her music is underwhelming kinda for a fat cat lady even Katy is more entertaining, just her vicals are not enough, ppl in santa monica 3rd st are more entertaining to watch, Gaga did a good job since most of is expected a mermaid.
First of all, did you read what you wrote before you posted? It makes nooo sense. Adele’s songs can blow katy perry out of the water, especially once you hear that shes not just singing about getting drunk and being a skank.

I definitely did not enjoy it. Had it been less than a min before she performed, I could have tolerated it. But as it went on, I honestly felt embarrassed for her. I hate that feeling, it’s just so awkward.
She was awful- and it is was not a moment to remember- MTV failed big time with Gaga. I thought the poster comment ridiculous and it just shows she doe not have the goods. After last night- it was clear she is no Madonna and her recent album sales prove that even further
I concur. She is definitely no Madonna. I was never a fan and I have been patiently waiting for the public to realise that she is just an overnight sensation. And very selfish; shame on her for stepping on poor Britney’s moment (Im not even a Britney fan and I think it was wrong) and the egg was sooo rude. She just seems like a child who wants ALL the attention, like she is not willing to share the spotlight. Please realise there is enough for everyone. Lady Gaga- you need to start saying your prayers, look normal, leave the music industry and hold onto any dignity you might have left..it was truly an embarrassment…I felt very awkward and the lame sex poster jokes need to stop..if you want to be shocking..try acting a bit more moral.
Again, its theatre. Lighten up. Its the VMA’s. The vulgarity was part of the character.
