Internet begs Justin Timberlake: 'Please make music again' -- watch the NSFW video here

He’s played the Napster founder in The Social Network, a sexy art director in Friends with Benefits, and an action hero in the upcoming In Time.

But in this hilarious — and NSFW — PSA clip below, people everywhere are coming together to lament one sad problem: It has been five long years since Justin Timberlake has made music. Women All of us need some new getting-down tunes from Mr. SexyBack himself, and someone finally decided to make a video about it:

The desire for more JT is apparently catching on. The video has racked up over 60,000 views in just one day and Timberlake himself tweeted about it earlier, saying, “ ‘cause that’s how science works…’ Hahaha LMAO.”

Tell us: Do you also long for 2006, Music Mix-ers? Are Bruno Mars and co. just not cutting it? Do you think Justin will get the hint or will he continue to go for the gold that’s in Oscars, not Grammys?

I dont get what the big deal is. I mean yes, he has made some good music, and there is a shortage of male pop stars at the moment, but he’s been incredibly over-hyped. I realize i may get 100 replies telling me im wrong, but he is not an outstanding singer. He’s good, but not as good as people make him out to be. And as a songwriter he’s decent but he tends to re-write the same song 50 times.

I’ll be the 1st to disagree with you Kat. I think he has a great voice and makes great music. He dosen’t do autotune, he dosen’t lipsynch. Go to youtube and watch the video of Bieber singing CMAR to Selena then go watch the acoustic version JT just did of his song CMAR at the Irving Plaza Show. You’ll see the difference between someone who can’t sing to someone who can sing. Come back JT. We need you!!!

You abbreviated Cry Me a River. Wow.

      • chris brown more talented in every way

        just is a bad dude

I agree with you Kat, 100%. I think Triumph said it best: “So many skills Justin’s making a buck at,
Does he rap? does he sing? He doesn’t know what to suck at!” You can acting and hosting SNL (badly) to that, too. Stay in your lane, Justin. Stay in your lane.

I agree that he’s not an outstanding singer, but pop music doesn’t require one to be an outstanding singer. If that was the case then people like Britney Spears and Katy Perry would never been successful on the pop charts. Don’t even get me started about Rihanna.
Justin Timberlake made good music and I want to hear more of his goodness. Maybe not greatness, but solid goodness.

Yeah, whatever, ‘WhatGoes Around’ is indeed a rewrite of ‘Cry Me A River’, he maybe was so annoyed by the fact that people were buying big time any bs he released, also he hates pop music now, he ravely said he loved the last Radiohead album, and that’s far from pop, he may be annoyed also that he can’t write good music that is not pop. I think he was a fine pop artist, not deserving all the big hype, (Can’t believe ‘Lovestoned’ won over ‘Don’t Stop the Music’ at the Grammy’s) never quite believed he was good until he released the second album. Also he’s traumatized by what he did in N’Sync, don’t even know why, even though a lot of people hate it, they were a fine pop group. That attitude at the ‘Pop’ single was great. And that Rihanna comment, she CAN sing, she almost never lipsynchs, so keep your ignorant opinions to yourself. Back to Justin, he has charisma but by the movies he’s choosing I don’t think he’s gonna get that far, he’s the typical medium-blockbuster hit guy, he may star in movies that gross good but when he turns old and not goodlooking, hope he knows what to do.

OMG this is just so funny. lmao I agree with the sentiment entirely. Time for a new album JT. We need real music again. Not autotune digital stuff.

  • Angie

This is hilarious! And so true. Come back Justin!

    • team brit

Yes JT needs new music if not when he does doecide to it might be too late..his sound might be old and dated and worse look too old to appeal the masses

  • Sharlin

I hope this grows so Justin makes music again!! Don’t turn into Lauren Hill :(

  • Ian

He’ll be remembered for his music, not his acting. That should be the only clue he needs. But if for whatever reason he’s more passionate about being an actor, I wish him the best.

  • Diva!

His songs sucked. Chris Brown and Usher already took over his throne. Nick Lachey is a better singer than him, and that’s saying something.

    • basically right

except remember Usher predates timberlake. also lol nick lachey

    • Levi Johnson

Every one of those guys should elect to get testicular implant surgery. Or at least some stronger pads to better stop the flow.

  • Trigg Palin

As lame as this video is, and as crappy as your music is, please listen to them, JT!!!! Please stop torturing us with your mediocre acting. You lucked out with “The Social Network,” but “Friends With Benefits” and the Logan’s Run ripoff? You can’t possibly expect the movie-going public to believe you are an action hero or that you have sex with women.

  • Jack Mehoff

Yes, that’s what we need – more wussy bad music and less wussy bad movies

  • Cindy

    What does NSFW stand for?

    • Hans M.

      Not safe for werk!

  • idviceroy

I love JT! He has been great on film and TV, especially SNL. But PLEASE JT – come back to music! Give us something new to listen to.
    And don’t f**k it up!

  • Hans M.

But… blah, JT, really? Why not one of these for David Bowie?

  • Cindy

The girl with the brown curly hair talks like Emma stone

  • LOL

    America loves crap.

  • Anne

I’m kind of upset by the fact he uses terms like LMAO.

  • NonEntity

I hope all of his teeth drop out and he loses his voice forever. Just another cheap facsimile of the old idea of what a “pop star” is.
