Incredible. What makes it even more so is that this was just an off cuff performance. This girl is going places. Can’t wait for an album.

I like Haley, but it’s always a mistake to try to copy Billie Holiday too closely. I look forward to seeing what she will come up with in the studio.
I primarily listen to and buy Jazz Cd’s. I only watched AI because I happened to overhear part of her original version of this song & literally stopped dead in my tracks. This is the Haley I’ve been waiting for, but there’s always room for growth. Personally, I love her Billie Holiday *tribute* =) I hope to hear all facets of Haley in the future, but am hoping her interscope release is a vehicle to showcase her heart and soul through blues & “Jazzy” based music and not like some of the dreadful material other idols from this season have been landed with so far. Live improvisation is where she truly shines.

it was great to have haley on idol – to showcase the variety of her talent. she should be picked up by the late nite circuit and perform weekly – a different style each week to keep her fresh and her talent alive. this girl can easily eclispe other greats of the day – to include jlo and gaga

Fans of R.J. HOHIMER, IRVIN MAYFIELD JR., and HALEY REINHART would love to have this moment captured as a work of art. In today’s world we have the genius of CASEY ABRAMS behind the camera. He must have known that by tweeting about this video that the whole world would soon see it. Newspapers and entertainment magazines watch the tweets of all entertainers and if they find them worthy enough to post on their sites, they will add some thoughts and comments. And the viewers of these sites will also share what they have seen. Everything about this video is pure genius.
I honestly believe Haley will be one of the future musical greats.

I would put Haley on a path of solid commercial success but wouldn’t go overboard saying she would eclipse Lady Gaga.
There is serious, serious talent with Lady Gaga and she happened to hit the mid-2000s sweet spot perfectly.
I do think Gaga likes Haley a lot and is another singer that can see a real potential for commercial and artistic success in Haley.
Haley holds up her end. The YouTube from NOLA was another fine effort and buzz was she killed her sets over in the Philippines. Hopefully – and Idol viewers were shortchanged in her not getting any real pimp package – they will gravitate to her personality as well..lots of friends, interesting and funny interviews.
