For me, I can’t get over the praise she receives from other musicians and some of the best in many genres. Here Casey Abrams sets the stage for us with his selfless tribute to the one he called “such a special voice…I’ve never heard anyone like her before and probably will never hear anyone like her again”. Yes, I am fortunate to have found her through American Idol, but she is too talented and gifted to be limited by that venue. As Irvin Mayfield tweeted…”it’s love at first hear”
Wow. Wow. Wow. Proof positive, as if Lambert were not enough, that pure genius can come out of a reality talent competition. I also would buy a CD of hers with nothing but Jazz/blues. Waiting.
This is a Blessed event that needs to be heard World Wide – tho given what she keeps showing us tops what she did before the World will (soon) get its chance

Props to Community College”….. scary (but wonderfull) to think what the ‘professionals’ will be able to do to enhance that voice beyond waht God initially gave her
Haley plays her instrument with sense of humour having great fun with that. She is a too positive and happy person to get deep into the soulful blues. She has that sunny and sensual quality that could make her immensely popular like Peggy Lee and Ann-Margret.
What date exactly did this take place, as I was in NOLA the 12-19th?
She was at a jazz club? This is news? When are we going to hear that she has a single coming out or that she’s recording her CD? I’m scared that people who were fans of hers while she was on the show will forget about her if she doesn’t get something out soon. The people I work with that said they were fans of hers a few months ago seem to have lost interest in her already. Come on Haley! Stop waiting for that “perfect” song and record something!

No one’s idol fan base will make or break them, you have to expand beyond that to have a level of success. So I’m fine with Haley taking her time and making as close to the kind of music she envisions as possible. She’s in this for the long haul so I don’t see any point in rushing something out.
Casey, Haley,Pia and Lauren were in New Orleans for a corporate event at the House of Blues. Afterwards, H&C went to Mayfield’s club. The United States portion of the Idol tour had just ended and the next day the Idols left for the Philippines. Since the tour concluded, Haley has been in the studio writing and recording.

Great, but why wasn’t Casey up there with her playing.
This pretty, but it does not show the real Haley,
this type of singing way beneath her, she is a hell of a singer and the louder she gets the better she get. Haley heeds to keep singing songs like you and I. and I who have nothing is her best type of singing and follow some of Stevie Nicks songs…
I adored this video. I don’t think the trumpeter expected that! Haley is unbelievable. I absolutely love her Earth song. I never really got it with Michael but I really got it with her. Every word meant much more. Lopez and Randy panned her on it but as tyler said what do you learn? They got it all wrong. I wish her a fantastic career and will but her album for sure.
I know you won’t see this but I have to say “Earth Song” was one of my favorites that she did too. She killed it.
