Heard this at midnight and immediately downloaded it! It isn’t something I would have thought would go on a “Twilight Saga” soundtrack mainly because Bruno is so mainstream and their albums usually feature indie bands and artists, but I still loved it!

    • Nancy

This is the most boring Twilight soundtrack I have ever heard. What happened? You guys use to have the best music.. What a let down.

      • Kim E

My favorite song of all time I got from a Twilight soundtrack.
“Roslyn” by Bon Iver & St Vincent
The most beautiful song I’ve ever heard.

      • michael

I went to check out these songs up there, and most of them sound like easy listening tracks I could hear on xm radio or something.. Disappointing.

      • Julie

Bruno Mars looks like Ricky Ricardo. Vampire Movie with Ricky Ricardo lookalike singing cheese.

  • Johanna

You know men when it comes to Twilight, they become such little babies!
Woooo! Breaking Dawn is going to be huge! I’ll be going on opening night with all the girls! Let’s go girls!
Treated myself to a Thai massage today that felt sooo good and afterwards, people kept stopping me on the street to say, ‘Oh my God, you’re glowing.’

What the heck is this comment?

      • joanne

This new Bruno Mars song sounds like a ripoff of Everybody’s Working for the Weekend by Lover Boy.

      • Leila

Awesome! Rhapsody already has the album. Favorite songs: The Sims 3 Pets Theme, Cul-de-sac of Memories, A Ball of Yarn, Leashes and Skirts, and Chasing Clouds.

  • João Paulo – Brasil

    I like this song.

    • Nancy

      It is BORING

      • lori

        everyone’s working for the WEEKEND!!

  • Amanda

This is a really good song and I love Bruno Mars…I think it fits the movie well…..so excited for Breaking Dawn

    • joanne

I am a really big Twilight fan but this music is Mediocre in comparison to their other soundtracks. No Muse?

      • sly

the only really good soundtrack so far was the first one … glad Iron & Wine and Carter Burwell are back … I like this track but I’ll wait until I hear the whole soundtrack to decide if I like it better than the one for Twilight

      • jen

        this is awful

  • Sarah

Normally I’m not a fan of his music, but I actually really like this song.

  • Doris

    I love this song!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!

    • joanne

It is like listening to the Easy Listening station on XM radio. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Fatima

Oh wow, this soundtrack really lost the cool kid vibe of the others.

    • BMW328i

agreed! Bruno Mars?! BOO! where are my indie gods like Bon Iver and St. Vincent?! I mean Angus & Julia Stone are awesome along with Noisetttes, but Bruno Mars? REALLY?

      • Phil

The Noisettes are awesome, but I wouldn’t really consider them indie. They’re rather popular in their native UK. I still have no idea how “Never Forget You” wasn’t a hit here…they use it in the current movie Straw Dogs too.

      • lori

Bruno Mars is not Indie music. Thanks for playing.

    • Job

As far as Twilight soundtracks go, this one is very weak sauce.

  • l

Sounds a little like wild horse rolling stones how his singing it

    • Job

      very unoriginal and lame

    • alex

      so mean and wrong

  • Jennie Herrera

So excited!! I actually got teary when I read Iron & Wine will be singing FBAM (Wedding Version)!!! I cannot wait for November to come!!!

  • Roisin

The twilight soundtracks are always amazing and this one looks like no exception. Cannot wait to pick it up!!!

    • lori

Everybodies Working For the Weekend by Lover Boy!!

  • StewyFan

I like it. Bruno can sing, no doubt about it, but I do miss Muse.

  • Evan

    Where is Muse!?!?!?!?

    • Susan

      • lori

You want a piece of my heart?

    • Susan

I cannot believe Muse is not on here. Especially since Stephanie always makes such a big deal on how important it is for her to have them on the soundtrack and how much they inspire her…blah blah blah…

      • Sarah

Muse? Hello? They’re on every Twilight soundtrack! They inspired the series!

      • Lori

This soundtrack is seriously lacking in any really great songs. I’m not going to buy it this time. Sorry

  • Karate Pants

I wonder how much input Stephenie Meyer had with this one. And though I’m not really a fan, I thought Evanesence was contributing to this?

    • Karate Pants

Just for fun, I skipped on over to Meyer’s site and ran across her Breaking Dawn playlist.
Like the books, it was FAR worse than its predecessors. I keep checking it to make sure I really saw I’m Too Sexy/Right Said Fred. Yup. Still there. Like a bad car accident of a mix tape…I can’t look away.

      • Lori

This is terrible. I don’t understand what happened here.

  • Ruby

No Muse song? Finally the band has figured out how embarrassing being associated with these movies is!

  • Phil

My only regret about Bruno having the lead single off this soundtrack is that they stop working singles from his debut ! The “Lazy Song” became a hit, but there are so many better songs on his debut to still have a chance at charting like “Talking To the Moon” , and to everyone wondering where Muse is, I’d imagine they got what they needed out of their first few soundtrack appearances…mainstream success and performing on a slew of award shows & festivals in the U.S.

    • Lori

My guess is that they got cheap and stopped paying for real artists to contribute to their soundtrack.

      • Phil

Actually sweetie, you’re way off the mark, since the soundtracks have all been on Atlantic/ChopShop which is a subsidiary of Warner Bros, which is whom Muse is signed to. And Bruno Mars , Christina Perri, The Joy Formidable & Theophilus London are all also on WB labels, so they actually didnt pay very much for them to contribute to this album, and they are the most well known names on here.

      • Lori

So that’s why they suck? That makes sense.

      • District 12

Lori is sounding a little like a bitter Betty with all her comments on this post, get a life honey, we don’t care if you won’t be buying this soundtrack

      • bitten not born

*you better start from the start* lol better late than never
