I hope that this isn’t a train wreck. And, shame on Fox for probably having some role in two people who appeared/appear on Fox to sing the National Anthem.
When CBS aired the Super Bowl a few years ago, The Who sang at the half time show and they sang Who Are You; a song that CBS uses for many of it’s crime shows. Of course there is difference between the singing ablities of The Who and Zooey Deschanel, but, still if CBS, NBC, or ABC were airing the World Series, they would have stars from their tv shows, (who can sing), or stars whose songs are used by their tv shows, to sing the National Anthem. It is another way the networks use sporting events they pay big money to air to plug their programs. They all do it.
Scotty sung these great words from his heart, with his God given voice. God continue to bless America and help us Lord to give You glory in the nation of freedom and brave men and women that will lay their lives on the line to keep us a safe and free country.

Although I am not a country music fan, I have to say that Trace Atkins did a fantastic job of the anthem. That voice really carried and he was a true professional. No goofs unlike that Scotty kid. Yuck! Terrible! Couldn’t even pronounce words like perilous. REALLY! Just remember: if you have to have a country star, make it Trace Atkins.
What a bummer that Scottie’s performance was blocked on TV and YouTube.
What a bummer that we can’t hear Scotty’s singing of our National Anthem. Not on TV before game, or, even on You Tube. Rules are rules a I guess.
