The slow fade of great bands like U2 and Pink Floyd – guys with actual talent and innovative sounds, being replaced by a void of intellect and talent that is rap/hip hop, Britney Spears and all the made for marketing clones, and just about every post grunge rock/new rock band out there – it’s indeed sad times. No wonder most music sales comes from catalog works of bands past – most modern music sucks and is cosumed by a new breed of tasteless walmart consumers who think Taco Bell constitutes good Mexican Food. U2 – the last of the rock stars, when hip-hop drove the big cars.
