Then check out YouTube star Kina Grannis‘ colorful and technically marvelous music video for her song “In Your Arms,” which features the raven-haired chanteuse and about 288,000 (yes, over a quarter million) Jelly Belly jelly beans.
Grannis spent 22 months working on the stop-motion video, which features 2,460 individual frames, each of which took anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour to arrange.
The hard work was worth it, though — check out the video below (and be sure to watch in HD):
For an even greater appreciation of the hard work Grannis put into her new video, check out this fascinating behind-the-scenes clip, too:
Honestly, one of my favorite things in the world is an ambitious YouTube musician. In a web-world motivated by get-popular-quick stunts and slapped-together cover songs, the most impressive clips are still the ones that take time, effort, and true creativity to produce.
Kina Grannis’s earned over 10 million views for her last video, “Valentine,” and she deserves the attention she’ll be getting for “In My Arms” as well.
What do you think of the clip? Craving some Jelly Bellys?
