The boys are back in town.
In anticipation of their upcoming greatest hits collection, the Rolling Stones took to BBC Radio to debut their first new song in seven years, “Doom and Gloom.” The howling single is one of two new works that’ll show up on the band’s GRRR! compilation, due Nov. 13.
So what are Mick and co. up to these days? Reading the news: as you might have gleaned from the title, Jagger laments the world’s current state of affairs, from economic disparity to fracking — and it’s all backed by the band’s trademark Exiled swagger.
