Wake Owl is the nom de studio of singer-songwriter Colyn Cameron, a worldly rambler who intricately constructs hymns out of warm-strummed folk, breezy country hardware like steel guitars and violins, and his slightly psychedelic coo.
His new single “Gold” (which has also been featured on Grey’s Anatomy) comes from the forthcoming EP Wild Country, which will be available January 29 via Vagrant Records. “Gold” is available now via iTunes, where you can also pre-order the Wild Country EP. Following that release, Wake Owl will expand to a four piece for the following tour dates.
