After a short break from the scene, British dance-pop whiz-girl Little Boots is ready to return and disrupt.
The English artist — née Victoria Hesketh — has her sophomore effort, Nocturnes, due out May 7, and late last month, she offered a preview of what’s to come with the song “Motorway.” Now she’s something new for fans: the Nocturne track “Broken Record,” which you can listen to here.
With its pulsing beat and zippy chorus, the new song is more uptempo than the arty “Motorway.” Going off what we know, Nocturnes — which was produced by Tim Goldsworthy the co-founder of DFA Records and onetime man from UNKLE – will have an expansive sound.
