Snoop Lion really was a P.I.M.P.

There are a lot of things that we wouldn’t be surprised to learn about Snoop Lion, but after all these years, to learn that his rap about being a motherf—ing P.I.M.P. was really true is shocking. In the new issue of Rolling Stone, Mr. Lion admits that he was in fact a pimp in his heyday.

“I put an organization together,” Snoop said. “I did a Playboy tour, and I had a bus follow me with ten b–ches on it. I could fire a b–ch, f— a b–ch, get a new ho: It was my program. City to city, titty to titty, hotel room to hotel room, athlete to athlete, entertainer to entertainer.”

Now if that doesn’t sound like a good rap lyric, I don’t know what does. But being a pimp isn’t the only thing that Snoop is confessing. He’s pinpointing some of his best customers as professional athletes, a fact that shocks no one.

“If I’m in a city where where the Denver Broncos or the Nuggets play, I get a couple of they players to come hang out, pick and choose, and whichever one you like comes with a number. A lot of athletes bought pu–y from me,” Snoop said.

Cue all the gossip blogs looking up old pictures to see which athletes Snoop talked to back when he wore a big furry purple hat and walked with a cane. However, Snoop wasn’t your normal pimp. The rapper was rolling in enough dough from his own career that he let his, um, employees keep their profits.

“I’d act like I’d take the money from the b—-, but I’d let her have it. It was never about the money; it was about the fascination of being a pimp,” Snoop said. “As a kid I dreamed of being a pimp, I dreamed of having cars and clothes and b—-es to match. I said, ‘F— it – I’m finna do it.'”

This just went from a rap song to an inspirational movie about Snoop Baby and his American dream. And at the center of it all is Snoop’s real love: wife Shante Broadus.

“My wife had to take a backseat to this s—. And I love her to this day because she coulda shook out on a n—-, but she stayed in my corner. So when I decided to let it go, she was still there.”

How’s that for a fairy tale?
