Good job, Norway!
According to reports, Bey begrudgingly divulged a November release date for her next album to a fan after an Oslo tour date. Olivia Krantz wrote in a blog post that while attending a backstage meet-and-greet, she asked the singer when her next album was due. “‘In November’ was her answer before her gaze drifted to the next fan,” Krantz said (in Norwegian). “Got a faint feeling that she disliked the question.”
Meanwhile, in other Scandanavian news: the Swedish-based clothing company H&M has reportedly also incurred the wrath of Queen Bey after attempting to run doctored photos of her for their recent marketing campaign. British tab The Sun reports that the retail giant initially tried to run images that reduced the singer’s famously curvy physique.
“When Beyonce found out they had edited the way her body really looked, she hit the roof,” the paper’s insider says. “Her people refused to give the pictures the green light so H&M were forced to use the originals.”
As for H&M, a spokesman maintains that “as with all campaigns there are discussions on which images should be used. Both H&M and Beyonce are very happy with the final result.”
