Have you missed the dulcet tones of Yeezy opining for the last 24 hours? Never fear; the rapper stumbled upon yet another audible mic yesterday, delivering a full 30 minutes of non sequitur speech glory during an interview with Los Angeles’ 97.1 AMP Radio.

If we’ve learned anything from his past monologues, it is that a Kanye rant follows no logical order — though it will reference Paris haute couture and Kim Kardashian at least once.

In one of many moments of hyper self-awareness, West stalled a scheduled game of word association in order to explain the rant as an art form: “Rant has a negative connotation,” he said. “And these are inspirational, visionary, breaks in pop culture. Every time I talk, it is a crack in the matrix. When I wake up, ‘cause nobody’s gonna fire me tomorrow, so I can say anything I want to say. And luckily, I want to say positive things. And I want to make my mama happy, and I want to do God’s work.”

It turns out, he also still has thoughts on his infamous Taylor Swift 2009 VMAs Episode Interruptus: “We still haven’t seen a video as good as that video. Like five years later, we still haven’t seen a video that good,” referring to Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies.” Oh and that Jimmy Kimmel feud? West wanted to clear the air about calling himself a “creative genius:” “But that’s just my title,” he said. “I don’t know any other way to explain what I do.”

And what began as a question regarding his music somehow led to this Stephen-Covey-like epic mantra:  “I’m trying to open up peoples’ minds,” he said. “I want people to think more. I want people to feel like it’s okay to create. I want people to feel like it’s okay to make mistakes in front of people and follow what their dreams are and not feel boxed in. I want people to feel like you know, awesome is possible. I want them to … it’s not even a matter of what I’m doing at DONDA, [the “product experience and design company” named after his late mother] it’s the amount of people that are hearing me and now they’re gonna fight to get the best ideas out because the world will only be saved through good intention and design. It’s not gonna be saved as politics.”

Did you know that urban planning is also a West hobby? He said, “I wanna make a gym. I wanna make a store. I wanna do apartment complexes. I want to build cities. I want to be involved with hyperloop when it comes into reality with Elon Musk — that’s the conversation I wanna be in.” We can see it now — the city of Kanye Westwood. Population? One.

Some interview highlights:

On Kim:
- “I’m getting married to Kim Kardashian and I’ve never played in the NBA.”

On choosing the AT&T Park in San Francisco to propose to Kim:
“It seemed like so All-American. I love being an American and I love you know, family.”

On Miley’s VMA performance (He had only just met her that same day):
- “I would just have her twerk more,” he said, before proceeding to say “twerk” about 500 million more times. (Seriously.)

Miscellaneous:
- “I’m the number one most influential person on the globe in fashion.” (In which he prefaced by saying that no one looking is looking at Obama.)
- “No one older than me has a better idea than me because I’m the only 36-year-old me!” he yelled. “I’m the most relevant voice on the planet earth at age 36 post-being-the-most-hated. So don’t try to tell me anything. Help me help other people.”
