REIGN (The CW)
The song: Sanders Bohlke, “My Baby”
The episode: “The Consummation” (113)
The hook: Call it Mary’s Choice. The Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane) had to pick which of two brothers, Francis (Toby Regbo) or Bash (Torrance Coombs), would be her king on Thursday. After the wedding celebration and reception — set to Gabrielle Aplin’s “The Power of Love” and The Goo Goo Dolls’ “Come to Me,” respectively — the evening reached its, uh, climax as rejected Bash was forced to watch the marital consummation to the tune of Bohlke’s lament: “You are a body I could hold. You are a good woman I am told.”

NASHVILLE (ABC)*
The song: Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio, Chaley Rose, “Hennessee”
The episode: “Guilty Street” (216)
The hook: Despite the tension between Avery (Jackson) and Gunnar (Palladio), there was nothing disagreeable about the foot-stomper they performed at their first gif with Zoey (Rose). Jukeboxers on Twitter loved it.

THE WALKING DEAD (AMC)*
The song: The Mountain Goats, “Up the Wolves”
The episode: “Still” (412)
The hook: Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Beth (Emily Kinney) boozed, bonded, and backstoried on Sunday, consecrating their new friendship in moonshine-fueled fire as the North Carolina quartet’s strummer about overcoming ghosts from the past played out the episode. (“Wolves” was the hands-down favorite song of the week by Jukebox followers on Twitter.)

GIRLS (HBO)*
The song: Jill Sobule, “Don’t Let Us Get Sick”
The episode: “Flo” (309)
The hook: Sobule’s simple, wistful cover of the contemplative 200 track by the late Warren Zevon ended Sunday’s ep as Hannah (Lena Dunham) learned her beloved grandmother (June Squibb) had suddenly passed away after a seeming recovery. Speaking to the shortness of life and the need to be brave when confronting mortality, it resonated deeply with Hannah’s surprise at her grandmother’s death.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (The CW)*
The song: Cody Fry, “Find My Way Back”
The episode: “Catch Me if You Can” (215)
The hook: Fry’s building refrain played out Monday’s Beauty as Cat (Kristin Kreuk) tried to end her friendship with Vincent (Jay Ryan) to appease her controlling boyfriend Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy). Shippers were relieved to know her attempt was unsuccessful — the couple’s lips found their way back to each other.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS (ABC Family)*
The song: Sara Jackson-Holman, “Break My Heart”
The episode: “Cover for Me” (422)
The hook: “Go ahead and break my heart, you had me from the start. Go ahead and let me down, I’m better off alone, and you know I know, you know I know it.” Throbbing yet sultry, Jackson-Holman’s track perfectly conveyed the complicated feelings Aria (Lucy Hale) had for her ex Ezra (Ian Harding) as she read a manuscript he’d written about the Liars. Bonus Twitter shout-out to Juliet Lyons’ “White Wedding” cover as ‘A’ zipped up the wedding dress Spencer (Troian Bellisario) will wear to next week’s sure-to-be white-hot bridal fashion show.

PERSON OF INTEREST (CBS)*
The song: Radiohead, “I Might Be Wrong”
The episode: “RAM” (316)
The hook: Tuesday’s flashback-heavy ep looked back on Finch’s (Michael Emerson) previous partnership with the brutish Dillinger (Neil Jackson), who was murdered as the song played, viewers discovered why Finch made the choices that have led to where he is now — and how that will dovetail into where the future will take him in weeks to come. But were those choices right, or were they “Wrong?” They might be, apparently….

GREY’S ANATOMY (ABC)
The song: J2 feat. Cameron the Public, “Man in the Mirror”
The episode: “You’ve Got to Hide your Love Away” (1014)
The hook: Thursday’s Grey’s was an ’80s-tastic cover explosion that featured a riff on “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by The Wind + The Wave, Sleeping At Last’s “All Through the Night,” and Young Summer’s “Don’t You Want Me.” The most chilling among these was “Mirror,” an almost goth take on Michael Jackson’s ’88 instaclassic. The track played over a moment when the residents, weighed down by their own personal dramas, had to take a good look at themselves and get it together. They were nudged in that direction by a little chastising from Shane (Gaius Charles), who truly stood up for himself for the first time. Shamon, Shane!

SCANDAL (ABC)
The song: The O’Jays, “Back Stabbers”
The episode: “We Do Not Touch the First Ladies” (312)
The hook: A complicated constellation of Beltway alliances were on full display Thursday night as power shifted seemingly by the second. At the end of it all, new B613 honcho Jake (Scott Foley) was handed the keys to the kingdom — or a flash drive of Oval Office security cam footage, as it were — that he looked over to learn the latest secrets between Olivia (Kerry Washington) and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn). If Liv isn’t 100 percent sure about her feelings for Jake now, imagine how she’ll react when she realizes he’s one of the “Back Stabbers” in question.

THE BLACKLIST (NBC)*
The song: DJ Good Little Buddy, “Slow Ass Jolene
The episode: “The Judge” (115)
The hook: Tom, bad boy, you! The wandering husband (Ryan Eggold) got hot and heavy to Officers’ ironically used “Co-Education” with an appropriately auburn-haired colleague during a business trip. By hour’s end, infidelity was the least of the problems plaguing Tom’s wife Lizzy (Megan Keene). Turns out, the seemingly innocent teacher is actually a spy — as Lizzy had previously suspected — and she’s his target. Set that to an eerily slowed-down 33 RPM version of Dolly Parton’s 1973 lament “Jolene,” and you’ve got one heck of a nailbiter on a Monday night.
