Hold on to your primary-colored pantaloons — Jack White has announced the release of a second solo album on June 10.

And he’s taking the opportunity once again to teach the world an olde-timey vocab lesson: The album is called Lazarretto, which apparently is also the word for a quarantine station for maritime travelers. A fitting followup to his first post-White Stripes solo outing, 2012’s Blunderbuss, otherwise known as a muzzle-loading firearm.

For a man who knows terms only Civil War reenactors keep in circulation, he isn’t completely averse to a little internet promotion; you can watch the Ben Swank-directed video for Lazaretto‘s new instrumental track “High Ball Stepper” here:

The first single, “Lazaretto,” is due later this month on White’s own Third Man Records. Blunderbuss entered the Billboard charts at no. 1 (actually his first chart topper; the White Stripes’ career high was a no. 2 bow for Icky Thump in 2007), and garnered several Grammy nods, including one for Album of the Year.
