It should probably come as a surprise to no one that Justin Timberlake’s new video for his latest single off The 20/20 Experience is … racy.
After debuting the scandalous cover art for his single “Tunnel Vision,” it seems the next natural step was a similarly steamy music video. It just happened to be too steamy for YouTube.
Last Wednesday, Timberlake tweeted:
And he wasn’t kidding. The seven minute video features several naked women dancing and writhing in smoky rooms. The man himself remains fully clothed, and is never seen in the same space as the women, except as a projection.
YouTube took the video down hours after it premiered, citing violations of the site’s nudity policy.
“While our guidelines generally prohibit nudity, we make exceptions when it is presented in an educational, documentary or artistic context, and take care to add appropriate warnings and age restrictions,” a Google spokesperson told ABC News.
Apparently Timberlake’s video fell into the “artistic” (or, um, educational?) category, because it was back up on YouTube shortly — with a content warning requesting that users sign in and verify their age. Check it out here if you dare: READ FULL STORY
