Nicki Minaj plays a stripping psychoanalyist in B.o.B's 'Out of My Mind' video: Watch it here

Nicki Minaj, a doctor, and a stripper: It’s like three Halloween costumes in one!

In the new video for “Out of My Mind,” a bespectacled Dr. Minaj shows up in a white coat to administer a psych evaluation on patient B.o.B — but this isn’t your normal eval! No, it’s the kind that ends with her ripping off her coat and giving the potential loon a lap dance in leopard-print lingerie.

Needless to say, the new B.o.B clip is probably a bit unsafe for work – unless you also work at some sort of sexy mental-health facility, in which case this video will probably just bore you:

What will be this spring's biggest song? Take our poll

A quick glance at the last few weeks of Billboard‘s Hot 100 makes it clear that a handful of songs are ready to break Kelly Clarkson and Adele’s stronghold on the upper tier of the pop charts.

This week, following a cover on the Regionals episode of Glee, British boy band The Wanted‘s “Glad You Came” shot up from number 23 all the way to number 5 on the Hot 100 (not to brag, but we diiid say, “‘Glad You Came’ feels like a potential radio/club titan poised to become a hit” back in early February), and it’s likely that the boy-band jam will continue its ascent in the weeks to come.

But “Glad You Came” isnt the only new track making waves — a number of other buzzworthy songs are climbing up the chart as well. Take a look at a few especially notable performances from the past two weeks: READ FULL STORY

B.o.B returns with Lil Wayne-featuring cut about weed smoke : Listen to his new single 'Strange Clouds' here

b-o-b

It’s been a while since we’ve heard a newbie from Atlanta rhymer B.o.B.  — the man behind two of 2010’s bigger hits: the Bruno Mars-assisted “Nothin’ on You” and “Airplanes.”

Now he’s gearing up for the release of his sophomore album, and today he dropped its lead single, “Strange Clouds.” If the title didn’t tip you off, the song’s about getting high and features an unlikely guest, Lil Wayne.

At another time in Weezy’s life, a verse about his love for herbal essence would make sense. Two years ago, he was one of the most lifted rappers out there. But now that he’s on probation due to his fairly recent release from prison, he’s banned from drinking alcohol and using drugs — marijuana included.

Granted, this is art, and he’s free to say whatever he wants. But it’s difficult for me to believe Wayne when he says he’s “smokin’ on that strong/ That Arnold Schwarzenegger.” He’s certainly not talking about a cigar.

B.o.B, who doesn’t have the eyes of the law on him, kicks the song off with some fun lines. “I’mma hit her with that pipe/ Call that Nancy Kerrigan,” he starts. “Stay on the greenest greens/ Call us vegetarians.” Listen to it after the jump.

Grammys announce more performers: Justin Bieber, Usher, Jaden Smith, Bruno Mars, B.o.B, and others

Justin-Bieber-UsherImage Credit: Michael Caulfield/Getty ImagesThis morning a new batch of performers for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were announced. Usher and his protege Justin Bieber are set the hit the stage alongside Will Smith’s son, Jaden. Though the young Smith is known more as an actor, he did collaborate with Bieber last year on “Never Say Never.” Maybe he’ll bust some more raps next month. Hip-hop upstart B.o.B, R&B crooner Bruno Mars, and energetic soul star Janelle Monáe will all make their debut appearances at the Grammys, performing together in what’s described as “a rare never-before-seen presentation.” No doubt, Mars and B.o.B will spend a bit of time performing their summer smash “Nothin’ On You,” but it’ll be interesting to see where Monae fits in to the set.

Inside the VMAs: What you didn't see on TV

Taylor-Swift-VMAsImage Credit: Kevin Winter/Getty ImagesThe crowd settling into the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday evening knew that anything could happen over the next two hours — primarily because anything did happen at the last MTV Video Music Awards. (Lil Mama, you are not forgotten.) I’m sure I wasn’t the only one in that auditorium wondering whether we were about to see any more jaw-dropping surprises when the lights went down at 6 P.M. West Coast time. But did we? Read on. B.o.B debuts dreamy 'Magic' video: Watch here

B.o.B’s struck gold with two outstanding singles this year. His Bruno Mars-assisted “Nothin’ On You” was arguably the song of the summer while his Hayley Williams-featuring “Airplanes” kept things hot towards the end of the season. Now he’s back to work some more magic. In his latest video, the Atlanta native has the best and weirdest dream ever, walking into his bathroom to find a beautiful girl eating Fruity Pebbles out of his sink, performing in his backyard to a crowd of friends, and closing it out with a pool party. Check out the clip after the jump.

B.o.B and Robin Thicke sing 'Nothin' on You' unplugged: Watch here

When he performed his smash “Nothin’ on You” for a Starburst-sponsored MTV Unplugged performance, B.o.B didn’t just switch out electric instrumentation for acoustic. He also invited Robin Thicke to sing the hook instead of the original version’s Bruno Mars. I’m not sure exactly what this substitution has to do with the whole “unplugged” concept, but it does manage to make this very smooth song sound even smoother, and wring some fresh juice out of one of this year’s most ubiquitous hits.

Check out the Thicke-assisted “Nothin’ on You” after the jump, and let us know how you like it in the comments. Then, if you like, click over to MTV.com to see the rest of B.o.B’s unplugged clips.
