It’s been another bad week for Chris Brown.

On Saturday, Feb. 9, the singer, who’s expected at the Grammys tonight, was driving his Porsche to a charity event in Los Angeles when he said the paparazzi cut him off. “The occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle,” Brown’s representative said in a statement. “In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley, at which point he was cut off by two additional vehicles. Chris’ vehicle was totaled due to this aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi. He is okay.”

A spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department also released a statement about the accident, confirming that Brown was involved in “a solo, non-injury traffic collision” in which he “collided with a wall.” “Brown stated that he was being chased by paparazzi causing him to lose control of his vehicle,” the statement said. “Brown’s Black Porsche was towed from the scene at his request.”

It was on this same day, four years ago, that Brown attacked then-girlfriend Rihanna, who has now rekindled her relationship with him. He later pled guilty to felony assault and was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service. He was back in court last week after prosecutors raised questions about his community service and ongoing anger management issues.

Rihanna will join Brown at the Grammys; she’s listed as one of the performers. Also on the bill is Frank Ocean, who was involved in an alleged altercation with Brown in January.

Chris Brown back in court after prosecutors raise probation questions

Chris Brown is set to return to court Wednesday to face a prosecutor who is asking a judge to revoke the singer’s probation because investigators could not find credible evidence he completed his community labor sentence for the 2009 beating of Rihanna.

A motion filed Tuesday raises for the first time in Brown’s felony assault case several incidents that prosecutors say demonstrate Brown has ongoing anger management issues.

They cited a Jan. 27 fight between Brown and fellow R&B star Frank Ocean, and a 2011 outburst in which Brown threw a chair through a window after he was asked about the Rihanna attack on Good Morning America.

The filing represents a dramatic shift in the case against Brown, who was repeatedly praised by the judge overseeing his case for his completion of domestic violence courses and his community service work in his home state of Virginia. That changed in September, when prosecutors raised concerns about Brown’s community service after he logged 701 hours in seven months — an amount that had previously taken him more than two years to achieve. Frank Ocean says he won't press charges against Chris Brown

Frank Ocean wrote on his tumblr that he has decided not to press charges against Chris Brown, after the two were involved in an alleged altercation in a Los Angeles parking lot.

“As a child, I thought if someone jumped me, it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer. I’m an artist and a modern person. I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace,” he blogged.

Brown allegedly threw the first punch, which led to a brawl, when both stars’ entourages reportedly clashed over a parking spot.

Rihanna talks Chris Brown in 'Rolling Stone': 'He doesn't have the luxury of f--ing up again'

rolling-stone-rihannaRihanna’s new Rolling Stone cover may come with the headline “Crazy in Love,” but she claims her relationship with Chris Brown is anything but.

The singer unexpectedly opened up about Brown’s role in her life, reiterating the “Nobody’s Business” stance from her recent Unapologetic album.

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she tells RS. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

RiRi acknowledges that her relationship with Breezy is no Meg Ryan movie, but she’s quick to note that it’s not as twisted as people may think. “When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world,” she says.

“You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about s—. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.” READ FULL STORY

Police say Frank Ocean 'desirous of prosecution' against Chris Brown: UPDATE

It’s shaping up to be another unsavory Grammys season for Chris Brown.

In the Breezy-Ocean debacle, Brown allegedly threw the first punch while in the parking lot outside of a studio where the two camps were reportedly arguing over a parking space. This led to an all-out brawl, which left Ocean with at least a cut on his finger that he said will affect his ability to perform at the upcoming Grammys ceremony.

Brown’s camp fled by the time cops arrived, but Ocean remained. And according to the New York Daily News, Ocean’s looking to press charges against Brown. “He’s desirous of prosecution,” a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman told the paper.

Chris Brown allegedly in altercation with Frank Ocean

Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown is under investigation for an alleged assault in a West Hollywood parking lot, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said early Monday.

Deputies responding to a report of six men fighting Sunday night found the scene clear, but were told by witnesses that there had been a brief fight over a parking space.

“The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim,” the department said in a statement released early Monday morning.

The “victim” wasn’t identified but the celebrity website TMZ – which first reported the fight outside the Westlake Recording Studio – said it also involved Frank Ocean, one of the top nominees at Grammy Awards next month.

In a Twitter posting later, Ocean said he “got jumped by (Brown) and a couple guys” and suffered a finger cut.
