Former 'X Factor' judge Nicole Scherzinger reveals eating disorder: 'Bulimia was my addiction' -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

During a bombshell interview for VH1’s Behind the Music, singer and former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger joined the recent weight and body image conversation, revealing that she battled bulimia for years while she performed with girl group the Pussycat Dolls.

“I just hated myself,” Scherzinger says during the interview, of which EW has an exclusive video sneak peek below. “I hated myself. I really was so disgusted with myself and so embarrassed. I felt so alone. I was in a group, and I never felt so alone in my life.”

Nicole Scherzinger releases seventh(!) post-Pussycats song, begging listeners, 'Try With Me': Will you?

Pussycat Doll. Sing-Off judge. X-Factor mentor. Is there anything Nicole Scherzinger can’t do?

Apparently, release an album.

After six attempts at launching her solo career Stateside — she continues to chart well in Europe — with singles that just didn’t take off, Ms. Scherzinger is back with a new song and video, this time for a track called “Try With Me.”

If the song hits, perhaps her album Killer Love, which was only released internationally, will finally get a U.S. release. (She’s been trying to go solo since 2007, although “Try With Me” is technically not yet slated a single for upcoming U.S. release.) If it doesn’t, one has to wonder how much longer various labels will tolerate an artist that audiences just don’t seem to like all that much on her own.

Check out the mossy-piano-driven ballad-turned-thumper, which features the sad (and perhaps sadly apropos) reflection,“Why does it feel like you care when I know that you don’t?” below: READ FULL STORY

The Pussycat Dolls 2.0: Meet the new members, including a former 'So You Think You Can Dance' contestant

Pussycat Doll creator Robin Antin announced the newest members of PCD through her twitter page on May 22nd, and debuted a photo of lead singer (and Dancing with the Stars finalist) Nicole Scherzinger along with the new gals.

Included in this version of PCD is former So You Think You Dance contestant and Fame star Kherington Payne (far left), plus America’s Best Dance Crew runner-up Rino Nakasone-Razalan, former Lakers Girl Vanessa Curry, and former Girlicious contestant Jamie Lee Ruiz.

Of course this is not the first change to the PCD line-up, with Scherzinger as the lone consistent member. And many groups have changed their roster over the years to varying degrees of success (Van Halen; Journey) but PCD has sort of become like a modern-day Menudo with its various incarnations.

Will the new girls help PCD return to the top of the charts? Maybe. Confession: I’m a total PCD convert. I have a PCD hoodie that I occasionally [ed note: occasionally-often] wear in my office. And just for old time’s sake, here’s my favorite video by the sexy songstresses: READ FULL STORY
