The 10 most ridiculously cleaned-up lyrics on 'Kidz Bop 26'

Okay, whose bright idea was it to include “Timber”—a celebration of binge drinking, debauchery, and girls “like Miley Cyrus, clothes off/Twerking in their bras and thongs”—on the 26th Kidz Bop compilation, which hits stores today?

The world may never know; Kidz Bop declined EW’s request for an interview. (Cue “Someone Like You” from Kidz Bop 21.) From listening to the full album, though, one thing’s clear: Someone had a lot of fun cleaning up these lyrics to make them nominally kid-friendly. In the case of “Timber,” that means nixing the entire first verse—the one about twerking—and changing “one more shot, another round” to “one more dance, another town.” But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Kidz Bop lyrical changes aren’t just about scrubbing out curse words, sex, and drug references—they also nix mentions of anything remotely violent or ethically questionable. And sometimes, they change stuff just for the hell—er, heck—of it. Need proof? It’s going down: READ FULL STORY

Katy Perry plays dress-up in music video preview, maybe makes awkward anti-Semitic gesture -- VIDEO

Katy Perry really wants our attention, and she’ll do whatever she can to get it. Even if that means making a video that might be a tiny bit racist.

In a preview for Perry’s upcoming “Birthday” music video, the singer put out a clip in which she poses as various birthday party performers — a dancer, a princess, a clown. Spoiler: It’s weird. Super weird:

John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John exceed your wildest expectations with Christmas music video

What happened to Danny and Sandy after they flew Greased Lightning off into the sky? Evidently, they landed, grew middle-aged together, bought a plane — wait, what? They already had a flying car — and separated before the holidays just so that they could make a music video about coming back together. The clip also features a family reunion that has nothing to do with Danny or Sandy because, sure, why not.

What the hell am I talking about? I’m talking about this newly-released music video for the only original tune on Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta’s fantastically cheesy Christmas album. (EW’s Nakisha Williams calls it “Grease goes to Shady Pines.”)

The song, “I Think You Might Like It,” is supposed to be the “sequel” to “You’re The One That I Want.” In the sense that it’s an up-tempo duet between Travolta and Newton-John, it succeeds. In every other way… well, maybe you should just watch for yourself:

You haven't heard 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' until you've heard DMX's version -- VIDEO

What’s his name? It’s DMX — and he just dropped a f—load of Christmas cheer on all y’all.

During a recent visit to New York’s Power 105.1, the rapper was asked to put his own spin on the timeless Christmas tune “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Dark Man X complied, waving away a lyrics sheet and reciting the song from memory so excitedly that he sped ahead of his accompaniment.

By the time DMX got past the preamble, he was ad-libbing and sing-rapping like some sort of enchanted hip-hop elf — leaving the radio station with a version of “Rudolph” that deserves to become a classic.

Even Ja Rule has to admit that DMX killed it. Watch here:
