After a tense period of uncertainty, rock ‘n’ roll pundit Ted Nugent has finally cleared the air with the United States Secret Service.
The Nuge got in hot water last weekend when he made threat-ish remarks at an NRA meeting in St. Louis, including, “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
His tirade perked Secret Service ears, but the two parties have reconciled after convening in Oklahoma yesterday.
“The issue has been resolved,” agency spokesman Brian Leary said in a statement. “The Secret Service does not anticipate any further action.”
