Demi Lovato sings National Anthem at World Series Game 5: Watch the video here

Demi Lovato can singggg.

Last night before Game 5 of the 2011 World Series at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, the 19-year-old hit a home run with her rendition of the National Anthem.

Looking happy and healthy in a red Texas T-shirt and matching red all-American lips, the raspy-voiced popstar played to her strengths,  giving a restrained, ballad-esque performance before the big finish. Cue the fireworks: READ FULL STORY

Justin Bieber premieres his 'The Christmas Song' featuring Usher

We’re just eight days away until the Justin Bieber Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, changes everything, and with such little time to go, it’s no wonder tracks are popping up all over.

This morning, Usher called in to On Air With Ryan Seacrest to premiere his duet with Bieber, the song that often also goes by the title “Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire.” Click over to listen to the track, and check out this behind-the-scenes vid that went up over the weekend: READ FULL STORY

YouTube stars Karmin release first major-label single 'Crash Your Party': Listen here

A few months ago, Karmin was just a guy and a girl (real-life couple Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan) sitting in their Boston living room, covering pop songs.

Then, the duo released a cover of “Look At Me Now” that went viral, and the musicians became an outright web sensation.

It wasn’t long before Karmin’s other covers began garnering millions of views, and the band was invited to do things like perform on talk shows, duet with The Roots, have their music featured on NBA commercials, and ultimately, sign with Epic Records.

Now, Karmin has released “Crash your Party,” its first official single with Epic (from an untitled album due out in 2012), and unlike a lot of Youtube-turned-pop acts, they sound like they could actually fit in on mainstream radio. This track has swag!

Amy flaunts a bit of her trademark sassy rap style and R&B-tinged runs over a sunny groove that feels similar to Jessie J’s “Price Tag” and had me bopping right along. But then, I am a confessed fan of these two!

Check out the “hip pop” jam below, and let us know what you think: READ FULL STORY

Rihanna falls in love, goes off the rails in her new 'We Found Love' video: Watch it here

Leaked pictures from the set of Rihanna’s “We Found Love” video last month made it seem like some the-wheat-fields-are-alive Sound of Music romp, but there is a distinct lack of raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens in the final product. Instead, it’s a Trainspotting-meets-Drugstore-Cowboy portrait of wasted youth and finding love in an apparently very pharmaceutical place.

Britney Spears and her real-life boyfriend go Bonnie and Clyde in video for new single 'Criminal': Watch here!

It’s crime time for Britney, bitch.

In her new video for “Criminal,” her fourth single from Femme Fatale,  Spears acts out a romantic heist/robbery/forbidden love with real-life love Jason Trawick– complete with multiple naked sex scenes.

The good stuff: Spears looks great — the weave is working for her and the video plotline has a fun story that isn’t just Britney slithering against a wall.

Although it is a Spears video — there’s still a little slithering. Check out the maybe NSFW video below: READ FULL STORY

Katy Perry sings ballad version of 'The One That Got Away' on 'X Factor': Your opinion is desired

Let’s debate: Katy Perry performed a slowed-down version of her new single “The One That Got Away” on the U.K X Factor last night… and sounded surprisingly good.

Rocking a new pink hairdo and wielding a guitar, the emotional, stripped-down performance was a success for Perry, who is obviously more known for her radio hits than her live-performance chops.

But give the lady some credit:  she sounds better here than she does on the recorded version of the tune. I could have done without the back-up wails, but otherwise, she should definitely add this version into her rotation.

Adam Levine gets naked for fashion (and love): See the pictures

Is it hot in here?

It’s getting harder and harder to breathe thanks to these new (naked!) shots of Adam Levine in Russian Vogue.

Check out these NSFW pics featuring multiple images of The Voice judge and Maroon 5 frontman giving sexy stares and seducing the camera alongside his Russian-born supermodel girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna.

These two seem to be joined at the (nude) hip: She’s been in the Maroon video  for “Misery” as well as “Never Going To Leave This Bed,” both of which feature the pair in various states of undress.

Inside the magazine, in another naked shot, we see Levine has tattooed  A N N E across his fingers—sorry ladies, I guess it’s serious for now. Can we talk for a second about just how tattooed Levine is? It took seeing him without clothes to realize how fully decked out his (extremely fit) body is. Check those arms!

This isn’t the first time the “Moves Like Jagger” singer has forgotten his pants for the camera. The singer stripped down for testicular cancer awareness in a UK Cosmopolitan centerfold last February. He’s hot and socially aware!

Readers, what do you think? Is he showing too much skin, or not enough?

Katy Perry announces new perfume, Meow; does its name pass the smell test with other celebrity fragrances? Take our poll

Here, kitty kitty: Just in time for the holidays, Katy Perry announced today that her second fragrance will be called Meow, the sister scent to her debut perfume Purr. And yes, Purr did come in a feline-shaped bottle.

With her fairly literal sexy-cat ad campaign for Purr, I’m nervous excited moderately intrigued to see what Perry has in store for us with Meow.

The pop star has been trying to get fans to guess the new perfume name on Twitter this past week, and with picks ranging from ‘catnip’ to ‘furrytail’ and ‘catberry’, it wasn’t too much of a surprise when she announced the big news by tweeting, “My next fragrance & bestie to Purr is MEOW! She’s very sweet & inspired by that magical place, CANDYFORNIA!” READ FULL STORY

Heart2Heart: Is the new Lance Bass-backed boy band for real? Watch here

Move over, Rebecca Black. The Internet has a new horrifically-bad-but-OMG-it’s-kind-of-catchy tune to get out of their collective heads.

Heart2Heart, a group whose appearance seems to be a leftover relic from the glory days of the boy-band years, released a video this week for their new single, “Facebook Official,” an insightful lyrical examination of the corporate takeover of an increasingly capitalistic society.

Just kidding. It’s about changing your relationship status on Facebook.

Justin Bieber premieres new Christmas track 'Mistletoe' in concert: Hear it here!

Oh baby, indeed.

At his concert last night, Justin Bieber performed his brand-new song “Mistletoe,” announcing, “This is the very first time anywhere in the world that I’ve sang this. So this is special. This is just for you.” Cue the screams.

The song is from his forthcoming Christmas album Under the Mistletoe, coming out (mark your calendars!) November 1. Of course, the Biebs can sing whatever he wants on his Christmas album–it’s going to be a huge hit. “Mistletoe,” a totally unnecessary addition to the Christmas music canon, is classic Bieber in his element. He just wants a little alone time with his lady. Bieber is just looking for somebody to love, just as long as there’s Yuletide cheer in the vicinity.

Watch the blurry concert footage below. READ FULL STORY
