Lindsay Lohan stars in R.E.M. video directed by James Franco

Yes, you read that right. Two of Hollywood’s strangest individuals, LiLo and JFray (I just made that up), have teamed up for an incredibly bizarre R.E.M. video.

Directed by James Franco in true James Franco fashion (meaning it’s basically a total blur), “Blue” stars Lindsay Lohan as a sultry muse for Terry Richardson. Lohan bites her lip and musses her hair while shots of Los Angeles fade in and out with dizzying persistence. All I can say is: don’t watch this if you get carsick.

Justin Bieber performs 'Cry Me A River' in concert: What's he trying to tell us? -- VIDEO

There’s now one more lonely guy.

As teens the world over undoubtedly already know, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are no longer together. People reports that Gomez ended things over “trust issues,” but Bieber’s latest moves don’t exactly jibe with that version of events.

In concert over the weekend, Bieber performed “Cry Me A River,” Justin Timberlake’s 2002 famous rain-soaked kiss-off to a cheating Britney Spears. Pause. Does this mean Gomez cheated on him? Is he trying to incept everyone as we speak? Is it weird that Timberlake’s decade-old breakup song is circling back around (and around) and coming all the way back around for the ending of another teen dream split?

This isn’t the first time Bieber has performed the song, but it is the first time that people can make a big, huge deal out of it. TMZ reports that Bieber is confident they’ll get back together (make sure to tell that to Gomez’s BFF Taylor Swift!), but if those two crazy kids really are done for good, what other songs would you like to hear him add into his devastation rotation: “Go Your Own Way”? “Everybody Hurts”? “The Scientist”?

So many questions, only 1:34 minutes of footage to overanalyze. Check out the heartbreak below: READ FULL STORY

From the people who brought you 'Friday': 'It's Thanksgiving' -- VIDEO

You want to listen to some holiday music, but Christmas is still just a little too far away? If only there was a pop Thanksgiving song, you’ve probably thought to yourself at some point. I wish I could pretend a turkey leg was a microphone, and give shout-outs to mashed potatoes over a repetitive chorus complete with a random rap breakdown two-thirds of the way through the track.

Be careful what you wish for. Teen Nicole Westbrook’s song, “It’s Thanksgiving,” has all of the above and so, so much more. For those that cherished the easy reminder of the days of the week from Rebecca Black, this song — by the same team that brought you “Friday” — attempts to replace the calendar in your life. Westbrook lists out all the holidays, and subs Black’s “we we we so excited” for “we we we are gonna have a good time.”

I don’t know why I’m going to nitpick this, but I think my favorite part is right at the beginning, when she is counting down the days on a calendar and Nov. 28 is listed as Thanksgiving Day. That’s not even accurate this year! We we we did not fact check this.

Coldplay's 'Hurts Like Heaven' video brings their comic to life -- VIDEO

The music video for Coldplay’s “Hurts Like Heaven” is a prequel to their planned six-part comic-book series, which shares the title of their album Mylo Xyloto, and plays out as the book’s pages are turned. The video depicts a social uprising: A group of superheroes challenges the leader Major Minus and flees from the militaristic police. They’re ultimately caught, but a glimmer of hope survives.

Although I prefer my Coldplay videos with elephants instead of superheroes, the clip’s Orwellian themes and underlying message about the importance of creativity and self-expression make it a win in my book. Even if you had never heard about their comic book, which will be published monthly beginning in February, the video complements the song’s up-beat music and lyrics perfectly, especially the colorful love story.

Happy Monday! To celebrate, James Franco has debuted a new music video for his band Daddy’s song “Love in the Old Days.”

Jaden, Willow Smith star in 'Find You Somewhere' video -- WATCH

Get ready to whip your collective hairs back and forth!

The Smith siblings have put out a new music video together, and when we say Smith siblings, we actually mean all three of them. AcE (a.k.a. Trey Smith — Will Smith’s son with Sheree Zampino) tapped into the combined star power of his two younger siblings Jaden and Willow for “Find You Somewhere.”

The video is a full-on family affair — it was also directed by Jada Pinkett Smith. Check it out below: READ FULL STORY

Chris Brown shows off new neck tattoo, denies it's Rihanna's face

Image credit: Jeff R. Bottari/Getty Images

UPDATE: Chris Brown’s new tattoo is not an image of Rihanna or an abused woman, his publicist told EW. It’s a MAC cosmetics design of a skull associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead.

Tattoo artist Peter Koskela said Brown brought him the design, below, to convert into a tattoo.

Brown recently revealed this fresh ink and many speculated that it was of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown was convicted of assaulting Rihanna three years ago and the image on his neck resembles injuries the songstress suffered during the altercation, including a black eye and bruised lip. Following the arrest, Brown has been working with various domestic violence intervention and prevention organizations.

The two stars have since reconciled and have allegedly dated on and off since the incident: The pair shared a kiss during last Thursday’s MTV Video Music Awards and Rihanna told Oprah Winfrey during a televised interview last month, “I do miss miss him sometimes.”

Lollapalooza interview: South Africa's Die Antwoord talk about breaking up street fights, the art of video-making and more

It took more than 19 hours for Die Antwoord, South Africa’s bonkers electro-rap collective, to travel from their homeland to Lollapalooza, but not even jetlag was going to stop emcees Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er from fighting crime — or doling out alternate South African history lessons.

We caught up with the “I Fink U Freeky” duo before their afternoon set Friday to hear about the robbery they stopped moments before arriving at the festival, their plans for an upcoming TV series, and why they’re done with making albums.

EW: At a festival, sometimes you get people checking you out for the first time. Does the audience feel different at all?

Ninja: In the club, everyone’s come to watch you. At a festival, it’s like a club in the front, and the big crowd behind them are other people seeing it for the first time.

Yo-Landi: There’s a spider on your shirt.

Ninja: It’s a small little thing. [Flicking it off] We just stopped a crime.

Yo-Landi: It’s like a black widow.

Ninja: We were driving down the street, and then this guy was running fast. He was crossing the road from the one side, right here, just before we got here. He was running, and as we were getting into the car, he didn’t slow down. He just ran right in front of the car. I noticed that the dude was running too fast. I think he did something weird. It happens a lot in Africa. You see guys running too fast, like there’s no reason to be running that fast. This chick was running after him, and we asked her what happened. She said, ‘He took my money,’ and then we chased him. We stopped the van and took him hard to get the money back.

Where does stopping a crime fall on your wildest tour stories?

Ninja: Pretty high up. It was weird. READ FULL STORY

This man has 15 Miley Cyrus tattoos; how many do you have?

Did you love t.A.T.u. enough to get a tattoo of them? Or any other band, for that matter?

Ever since Buzzfeed tipped us off to this amazing dude who has not one, not two, but fifteen Miley Cyrus tattoos on his body, we realized that music fandom is relative. Music Mix, for instance, won’t deny having some awesome ink on our collective forearms — but we’re nowhere close to having Hannah Montana’s mug permanently etched onto our precious skin.

As it happens, the act of commissioning musician-oriented tattoos is becoming something of a trend. To wit: That lady who got Drake’s name tatted onto her forehead.  Or this enthusiastic fellow who ran off and got Justin Bieber’s face tattooed onto his leg without realizing that Biebs would soon end up drastically altering his hairstyle.

Jamie Lynn Spears performs song about Britney -- VIDEO

Is this a recently unearthed Britney-Spears-circa-2002 video?

Surprise! It’s not — it’s actually little sis Jamie Lynn, now 21, who bears a double-take-worthy resemblance to her famous older sister. And Britney was certainly on the younger Spears’ mind last night, when Jamie Lynn performed an original track, “I Look Up to You,” at a club in Nashville.

With lyrics such as “They took away your innocence/We forgot our strong defense,” the song can easily be read to be about everyone’s favorite not-that-innocent pop star.

Check out the concert footage below:
