R.I.P. Freddie QUEEN are changing but they are nothing without you if it was’nt for you Queen would crash and burn. But you were a real champion WE LOVE YOU!! Stay safe Freddie:) R.I.P. God Bless<3
No one can replace Freddie Mercury ever/…
No, definatly not. Freddie’s shoes can be filled by NO ONE. I don’t care who u put in front of Brian and Roger, not gonna happen. Freddie’s voice is the only voice that can sing those songs to where you get the full effect of the song. I understand Brian and Roger wanting Queen to live on, and music being their passion, but it just isn’t going to happen like that. They may not be trying to-knowing they could never-replace Freddie, but whether or not you see it as replacing, that’s what it is, your putting a man in place of where another man used to be. It’ sjust not right, Freddie is and always will be the only man ever able to sing for Queen.
Freddie would’nt want the band to fall apart or destroy just because he’s gone. Freddie has done all he could do in Queen in 1991 it was’nt going to be very long for Freddie I felt it in my bones ever since I first starting loving Queen. For the “I’m Going Slighty Mad” video, Mercury had a costume suite, pointy shoes, gloves, and wild hair showing off his illness because he was living with AIDS for 4 years. 1987-1991 Freddie’s illness and his death . Anybody saw the Slighty Mad video? let me know soon. R.I.P. Freddie Mercury !
I would love to see Adam do something with Queen (perhaps a tour) because he definitely has the goods. However, I wouldn’t want to see him give up his solo career. I think someone like Adam needs the flexability to do more diverse material.
NO. NO NO NO NO NO!!!!
IT WON’T WORK!! NO ONE CAN REPLACE
FREDDIE! ADAM DOESN’T FIT IN!! U GUYS SHOULD KNOW THAT! AND I’M ONLY 12!!! ADAM’S VOICE IS TOO HIGH, AND HE IS TOO PUNK/GOTH/POP!!!!!
Originally Queen consisted of Brian May, Freddie Mercury, John Deacon and Roger Taylor.
Freddie God bless his soul is no longer with us. From what I understand John Deacon left the group.
If Brian and Roger want to continue with the name Queen…which is owned by them, they can do whatever they want.
Adam has said no one can replace Freddie.
With Brian being the voice of Queen, he has every right to keep the legacy of the group going forward if that is what he wants to do. If Adam Lambert accepts Brian’s offer not only will he get a look in by Queen fans he will also be helping himself in the process.
Yes, Freddie was the front man and a bit of the soul of Queen, but Brian is alive and well….long live Queen with the help from Lambert.
I do like his sound, and he is young and fresh. I do think you should give him a try. Lord knows nobody could ever take Freddy’s place. But to have a new young, vibrant member to the band, would bring a new meaning to QUEEN!!!!!!!
