NOTHING compares to Paris Jackson. An absolute heart breaker.
I thought “Soon & Very Soon” was an odd and offensive song for the casket’s arrival. Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There is not other “King” beside Him, people. It almost felt like they were trying to say Michael was Christ or something. I cringed at hearing that. Very inappropriate.
Stevie Wonder & Johny Mayer were the clear highlights. Classy and classic. Jennifer Hudson & Jermaine came second.
RAcheal the song that the choir sung in the beggining was not refering to michael as a king it was is an old black spiritual song the word are
soon and very soon we are going to see the king= which translates to you dying and going to see the king( the Lord)
I thought Jermaine and Jennifer Hudson did very well.
And that Mariah! She just couldn’t help herself couldn’t she? She had to go ahead and find a dress that showed her boobs, very classy. That ho!
The BEST performance EVER……getting out of child molestation charges I think that was his best performance to date other that his exit performance that is!!!
I wanted to click on all performances. Most inspiring production.
Michael Jackson is more than just the king of pop, he is a legend that made history.
I am not a person who cry openly but I did today and only Micael could make me very emotional.
The memorial was beautiful. He might not physically be with us anymore but he is within our heart. In a way I can think to myself that Michael no longer will have to endure the presence of any media attention and he has finally gone to a place of rest where he will be looked after beautifully just like how he gave sooo much to the world.
R.I.P Michael Jackson. we love you always and forever.
Favorite performance? How about “none of the above”? The entire memorial thingy has gone way beyond good taste, and certainly beyond justification. The guy was a talented entertainer and artist, period….you folks act like sainthood is warranted.
I was very touched in particular by Paris Jackson’s brief words and by Brooke Shields – it was very personal. I wish Elizabeth Taylor hadn’t missed this occasion, people want to know him, about him, and she had an opportunity to help people see who he really was.
Most of the hater are just crying out for attention If you ignore them they don`t get that attention and then they go back to there sad unimportant lives.KING OF POP !!
The entire memorial was moving. I went for a ride afterwards to cry alone. He was too gentle for this world. “I get it now”. Nothing else to be said…
ushers performance is the one that really got me.. he cried and made me cry.. its so sad that the king of pop passed away.. we love you MJ

i thought the entire ceremony was a tasteful memorial gathering. but each time the remaining jackson brothers jumped from their seats following each performer/speaker/friend it felt a little contrived on their behalf ,yet i thought young paris’s speech was most touching. those poor children lost their father no matter what the world thought about him[he was innocent and eccentric]. michael came from a different generation than most of us, in his day the n word was used in your face repeatedly and a spanking was quite honestly brutal torture.he was too sensitive for this world but in the afterlife he will have the peace and love he so deserved.R.I.P. THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER EVER MICHAEL J. JACKSON!
know one knows about us except for the people in our small town but mj u sang about us in ur songs. grays hill sc
