Next Tuesday, Canadian rockers Our Lady Peace are set to release Burn Burn, their seventh studio album. Who’s got four days to sit around and wait? You Music Mixers get to hear a new track right now, because we are exceedingly kind.
Below, check out “Time Bomb,” a song that lives on the deluxe edition of the album (being simultaneously released with regular-flavor album) — it’s got an arena-sized chorus, so get ready to roll down the windows and drive a little faster. Except really, you shouldn’t be using the internet in the car.
Stream “Time Bomb,” check out the 90210-meets-Twilight video for first single “All You Did Was Save My Life” after the jump, and then let us know your verdict in the comments.

This song is a nicely added compliment to the whole album def. a good reason to go grab the deluxe version! What a solid performance with Burn Burn, very timely and mature album
Our Lady Peace, best band currently around! They have yet to make a bad song, I don’t think I can say that about any other arist or group.. hmm.. nope! OLP is perfect, I just hope they don’t wait another 4 years between their next CD!!
I’ve loved this band for a long time. My favourite of their hits is “Innocent”. Very powerful.
Also doesn’t hurt that they are Canadian

All You Did Was Save My Life is such a horrible song on a pretty good album. Time Bomb is decent, but I’m glad it didn’t make the standard version of the album. It’s just a little too bland.
Amazing song, and from what i’ve heard streaming from the olp website this album is going to be amazing. Yeah it may have been a 4 year wait but at least they are still together, after almost breaking up because of “healthy in paranoid times,” that album wouldn’t be worth splitting up over. Thanks for the mention in the magazine, the only part i didn’t like the “90210 meets twilight,” comment. Please if this band every associated themselves with twilight it would be after hell had frozen over.
i am so excited for this album to drop!! i’m a huge OLP fan, they are terrific live and can’t wait to see what this new album will bring to the scene. I’m actually hoping for something as big as a spot on a new moon’s soundtrack. I think their music would fit. @ jon, i would have said the same thing about Idol, and yet it seemed to have worked out pretty well. can’t wait
I adore OLP!
WOOT!
No, you aren’t streaming the new song because you are “exceedingly kind.” You’re just another media outlet that was provided the clip to spread word-of-mouth. You do it for site traffic.
I’m looking forward to hearing the new album. It’s good to hear from them again.
While I don’t think they are as good as some of OLP’s best work, they aren’t too bad.
I’m the first to promote Canadian music, and was reluctant about OLP because a lot of their stuff was sounding the same. I was also skeptical after Raine Maida’s solo efforts; the one song I heard was horrible. (He’s looking very good in that video, by the way!) I did buy their last album, which was great (especially “Angels Losing Sleep”) and it sounds here like they’ve started to change up their sound a bit more. This is unlike other Canadian groups out there (I’m looking at YOU, Nickelback!)

The only good song I’ve heard so far is The Right Stuff. The other’s sound pretty generic to me.
@ Kat. Which idol are you talking about, is it in regards to the twilight soundtrack? I do agree their music (alot of the older stuff from say “clumsy) would fit Twilight, I just hope they don’t get too commericalized. I was sitting in the theater the other day and U2 is doing a commerical for Blackberry, that’s going way too far.
