I started reading a few comments and I think it’s hard to look back on the Beatles from the present and understand how original their stuff was. A few people dismiss their early work as “just another pop song” but that admittedly overused genre didn’t exist (or at least wasn’t nearly as wide spread) until they played it. The point is; don’t scoff at the decision of “A Hard Day’s Night” because it was boring or unoriginal. It’s not. Scoff at “A Hard Day’s Night” because it isn’t “Yer Blues”
