K-Tel is spot on. There’s really no sugarcoating it–this cover is a photoshopped, glamour-shot disaster. What were they thinking? Between this and the Michelin man photos, Adam’s natural sexiness is being completely erased. Baffling.

Um, just because Blake’s cover involved a starry background as well does NOT mean it’s anywhere NEAR the same thing haha. Adam’s is a lot more bold- it’s glam and androgynous. It’s “glittery alien from Planet Fierce”. Blake’s was just referencing an outer space, new agey electronica type sound haha. Two TOTALLY different feels

I really, really love this cover. The only thing that would have disappointed me is if he played it SAFE. He’s amazing.

Time For Miracles was a power ballad written by others and reflects a disaster movie. Adam’s album is not going in that direction at all!! I would suggest you listen before you think you know. I am betting the album will blow your mind.

Bowie sang a couple songs well. Adam sings everything great, everything. He is far better already than Bowie ever was. But this photo cover is lousy. It’s not even close to all the smokin hot pictures of Adam I’ve been seeing for months. Stupid choice for an album cover.
It is controversial, it is stunning, it is a work of art and it is GLAM = ADAM.

I can not disagree more! It is not controversial, nor is it innovative. Having grown up in the 70′s/80′s, this look is been there, done that. He is a talented guy, but this is boring,

It does kinda grow on you..I am one of Adam’s biggest fans..I just hope that people won’t dislike the cover so much that they won’t buy the cd..Adam is a major talent and deserves to have much, much success
No one’s gonna decide to buy or not buy the album based on the cover. People who love him will buy it regardless of the cover, and people who don’t like him will not be converted by the cover, or anything for that matter.
Correct! Especially when we’re talking about an artist with as much buzz as he has, the album cover just isn’t that important.
He should be careful his “buzz” doesn’t turn into a joke.
If someone dosen’t buy a CD because they don’t like the cover, that person is a mindless vegetable and dosen’t count.I sure don’t like the cover, but Adam is the most outstanding singer I’ve heard in years, and I pre-ordered a CD & will get another for my car.

That is THE worst album cover ever. Cheesy, cheap and right out of a remedial photoshop class.
I totally agree! It’s unbelievably AWFUL! And yet…. it’s OTT horrendousness, the contrived pose, the amateurish font, the forced ‘otherworldly’ coloring, is making me start to like it in a twisted way.
Is it weird that I love that I hate it? I guess anything that provokes a strong reaction from me makes me want to tip my hat in its direction.

I LOVE IT. It’s out there and beautiful and risky and bold. If he played it safe we’d all be bored. I also LOVE that some people don’t like it. It means it’s challenging and wont be easily forgotten. Well done Adam and RCA for having the balls to do it. Now give us the music!
Ummm…I like the concept, but the execution was really poor.
That is friggin’ AWESOME. But I was getting more of a David Bowie/Ziggy Stardust vibe than MJ and Madonna.
Not in one million years does this tacky cheesy cover *touch* the kind of artwork that David Bowie albums have been graced with over the years. Sacrilege.
