La Loba, she makes a lot of videos. Only days after the premiere of She Wolf‘s latest clip, the bedroom Cirque du Soleil/steamroom romp “Did It Again,” Shakira’s back with the Weezy pair-up “Give It Up to Me”:
I’m kind of feeling the whole early ’90s round-the-way-girl fashion vibes, plus classic C+C Music Factory dance moves (group caterpillar at 1:19, win!); less sure about the page ripped from Madonna’s “yay India” Kali goddess phase. Overall, I likey, but maybe no lovey; a solid B+. Disagree? Give it up to the comments section below.

That’s hot! Alright for the steppin’, too. Shakira’s not playing this time around.
As soon as the song and video started, I immediately thought back to Nelly Furtado. With that came the memory of “God, I freaking hate Promiscuous!”
I thought the Shewolf song was decent. Shakira’s newest stuff seems to be pretty mediocre.
The dance moves rock, though. I’ll give her that.
I actually liked the song “Promiscuous,” but I get what you mean. Although it proved to be very successful, a lot of people didn’t care much for Nelly’s decision to work with Timbaland and go with a more hip-hop/dance sound, while turning up the sexy image. Unlike Nelly, Shakira always had the sexy image, but now since working with Timbaland, she is moving more into the hip-hop genre as well. I can see why some of her fans might not like it. I’m still a little on the fence, but I’ll always watch her videos. Shakira is one of the sexiest women on the planet and her dancing is always fantastic.
The She Wolf album has received pretty much unanimous praise from critics. It’s easily her best English album.
Shakira has an awesome choreographer. Solid dance moves here and the work in “Did It Again” is some of the best music video dancing I’ve ever seen (too bad that song sucks).
This is a solid track. Always love hearing Timbaland beats (although his own “Morning After Dark” is better than this track), but the green screen stuff here and the cheap looking white sheets strung in the warehouse look extremely cheesy and low-cost.
Love Shakira in English but prefer her in Spanish. However, the new cd does show a lot of promise.
I love it.
Mash Promiscuous and I’m a Slave for U and add the ridiculous Lil Wayne…..
Why Shakira and Madonna chose to work with this homophobic cretin – especially given that both have a huge gay fan base – is beyond me. Yeah, I know they did it to sell more records but it’s still insulting.
Love It.
Um didnt Madonna wear that outfit for her HARD CANDY album cover????
PLEASE STOP WORKING WITH wayne.
He sucks!
Shaki YOU DNT NEED HIM !
I will be so happy when he goes to jail on his drug & gun charges.
Shakira is back wow?I Remember her back in 2001 video Whenever.whatever.That was a great video.
I do agree with all the ideas you’ve presented on your post. They are very convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very short for novices. May you please lengthen them a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
