    Does the woman not sleep?

    • paige

insomnia is adding to her pretentiousness

    • Maserda

Well if she keeps on collapsing on the stage that the doctors proclaim is from exhaustion, then no.

    • Kim

She does, but her ego does not.

  • Hans M.

    Well, yay, to that.

    • dg

      hoo rah

  • Pdawg

Anthem for our generation? Oh Brother. She is geting more and more and more and more full of herself every day. I love her but she will eventually abandon her audience by the idea of her own greatness.

    • honeybunx

not true gaga loves us too much, and she is allowed to be full of herself, she’s vain and she deserves to be vain because she is beautiful, talented, and she is an idol!!! BTW she dosen’t really care about how famous she is she just wants to be famous, so don’t be mean :P

  • Tarc

She’s the hottest thing since the 80’s. Gaga rules – at least for now. :)

  • Isaac

    SO EXCITED!

  • KFed

Striking while the fire is hot is wise. Pump them albums out, I say!
Meanwhile, ease up on the caps Kanye.

    • Luis Antonio

Its clear to everyone that she will be on the same level as Madana, MJ and Elvis. If yu don’t like that fact then sorry to bad for you.

      • Tom in STL

I think she’s talented, but you are going a little overboard. She has released one album, give her time to grow as an artist. Plus, the fact that you can’t spell “Madonna” gives you no credibility. Grow up, tween!

      • Rich

Let’s not get carried away, buddy. A few small facts:
–Madonna (or “Madana” to some) has sold 64 million albums in the U.S. so far… so Gaga only has 60 million more to go!
–Elvis is the best-selling solo artist in American history. ‘Nuff said.
–AND Michael Jackson’s best-selling album (Thriller) has outsold Gaga’s entire output worldwide by 100 million. Add in all his other music and that number jumps to 770 (!!!) million.

Gaga is definitely the pop artist of the moment, but let’s see where she is in 20 (or 10, or 5) years before passing judgment as to her impact on music history.

    • Kel

My biggest worry is that she’ll tire her self out and have a severe breakdown. I lvoe the new music, but I’d rather she take a break and come back stronger than ever before.

You certainly can’t deny her adoration of her fans. She knows who made her for sure. I love the Lady! Nate, NAS., ethansgreats and gio, I agree with y’all. Well said. :)

  • gio

our generation is because this song is for her fans

our = gaga + her fans

    not

    our = the world

you should learn how to read

  • NAS.

Although some (or most) may not like her style or her behavior, we have to give her credit for her talent. She is, if nothing else, extremely talented. I really enjoy her music and can’t wait to hear more.

    • Barry

      What talent??

      • ethansgreats

As a songwriter, for example – she can pump out one excellent, catchy, occasionally brilliant pop single after another. Actually, she’s relentlessly good at it. Also, as a piano player, which she’s done since she was like 5 or something. Also, as a producer. Also, in concept. Also, as a designer…

      • Nate

Correct ethansgreats. Any other questions Barry? This girl sings live (very well), plays instruments, writes her own music. She is what pop stars were meant to be. Talent? Yes, endless amounts. She will be around a very very long time. Thank goodness.

      • Tess

for real terms of talent, look up vintage lady gaga on youtube. I swear it’s her and she is singing songs she wrote while in school called “captivated” and “electric kiss”

      • LadyJNewYork

I am with you on that “what talent?” LOL

      • Nick

The full transcendence of pop music–during an era where it’s otherwise more fragmented than ever. That’s talent.

      • sarah

Even if her music isn’t your thing, you can’t deny this woman has serious talent.

      • Celimene

Absolutely. Say what you will about her act, but Gaga is a first class pop composer. I will happily listen to whatever she comes out with.

  • Q

I feel the love! More Gaga!

  • PeterBilt

Bob Gaga has another album coming out? And it will be the anthem for the Chaz Bono generation? Awesome. Hey kids, enjoy your anthem.

    • Vik

wow dude. u really know how to pull in those transgender puns huh? why don’t u throw in something about ricky martin being a lady too? grow up.

    • me

      thanks peter we will.

  • Elizabeth

“Kanye caps”… cool points for Leah!

  • Scott

And people say Mariah is crazy.

Gaga is ubertalented, for sure…but there is a fine line between ubiquity and oversaturation. I’d much rather see her disappear for a year and come back with a new sound. I have a feeling this album is going to sound like The Fame 3.0

  • Brooke

Although she used Kanye capitals, at least she was kind enough to break it up into lots of lines, rather than giving us one big paragraph like Kanye does.

Of course it’s the best of her career – she only does have 1.5 albums out so far, really. But hopefully this means that her music will evolve as her career goes on.

  • Belford

I hate when people claim they have written an anthem. An anthem is anointed over time by the people, not christened by its creator. The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again” is anthem, not some crap churned out by Hollywood’s auto-tuned pop factory…

  • Nshi

Not to be outdone by Gaga, I too have an anthem. It’s called Racism is alive and well in the USA and on EW’s boards. How dare you make fun of Kanye’s CAPS? He’s got more passion in his two shift-hitting pinkies than all of you biatches combined.

    • stevie

racism has NOTHING to do with it. they call them kanye caps not because he’s black, but because he always rights everything in all CAPS. it’s people like you that are making racism alive and well. give yourself a pat on the back.

      • Nshi

C’mon stevie, don’t act like you don’t know how this game is played. Sheesh.

      • Vik

totally agree stevie. i saw no connection between kanyes CAPS and a racist remark. jebus.

    • Barry

Yep he’s got real talent. The talent of disrupting acceptance speeches. I saw him as the opening act for the Rolling Stones several years ago. 45 minutes of my life that I’ll never get back.

    • Elizabeth

How was that being racist? Enlighten us Nshi…

      • Nshi

Oh, no YOU DID NOT! “Enlighten” you? R.U.4.Realz? No, it’s to enough that the media makes a big deal about MJ’s vitiligo lotions and creams, no you want me to “enlighten” you? Sister, I bet you are lightened enough.

      • Vik

oh wow nshi…how old r u? 12? u r taking everything out of context and turning them into racial slurs. ure the one with the problem. not everyone. wow, like ure really smart there…turning something as simple as “enlighten us” meaning explain yourself please, and u took that as something to do with skin color. people must love having discussions with u huh? or do u find everyone always gets frustrated and walks away? grow up nshi

      • Nshi

Thanks for playing, Vik. No prize for you!

      • Vik

trust me sweetie, im not interested in a prize or anything for that matter, from u. go take your racist insinuations elsewhere. and dont try and pin me as being racist or prejudice…im a person of color myself.

      • Nshi

Vik, honey. Listen, baby, I’m not pinning anything on you. You’re obviously new to this, just let it go. Promise, it’ll all be okay.

      • ej

Nshi hahahahaha thanks for making it so easy to laugh at you

      • The Original Nshi

        @ej
you do know that “Nshi” is not a real person, right?

      • Tom in STL

Nshi is a troll. Do NOT feed the troll!

    • spike

      Nshi, what is your damage?

You sound like Kayne – going after people on this board and then saying cryptic things like “oh, trust” when your BS makes no sense.

You and Kanye have a lot in common. You both talk out of your @ss.

And Kanye is the one person more overrated than Gaga right now.

      • Nshi

        1) if my a$$ had the ability to speak, I would not be on these boards. I’d be headlining a world tour sponsored by Preparation H or Fleet brand enemas.
        2) I did not go after people on the board. I responded. Big diff.
        3) I hate to sound repetitive, but thanks for playing spike. You’re new to this. So I understand you don’t quite grasp all the nuances and intricacies of Nshi yet. Have a great day!
