It doesn’t take much to get Usher‘s attention. As he croons on his Euro-pop will.i.am-assisted single “OMG,” a “booty like ‘pow pow pow’” and “some boobies like ‘wow oh wow’” will do you just right.
For a song with such a title, it sure does take a minute for its video to build up to wow-worthy moments. After some clean dance sequences, the magic begins. Usher grooves with shadows, puffs out O’s with cigar smoke, and then links back up with his ladies on a primary colored dance floor to show off his steps. Check it out and let us know what you think. He was on “GMA” this morning, in concert. In the interest of being nice, I will leave it at that.
Another lackluster song and video from the incredibly overrated Usher. There once was a time when I was a casual fan, around the time of 8701. Confessions was an alright album, but was just completely overrated and overplayed. 8701 was better.
Anyway, this song sucks. It’s obnoxious. And the video is nothing new. Standing in a black room with blue lasers all around is basically lifted from his video for “Yeah” six years ago. Oh wait, maybe the lasers were green in “Yeah.” Never mind then. This is pretty darn creative. Bravo, Usher.
