Beyoncé's one hot housewife in 'Why Don't You Love Me' video: Watch here

beyonce-videoStarring as B.B. Homemaker in her latest single, “Why Don’t You Love Me,” Beyoncé plays a housewife in need of some loving. Dressed as a 1950s pin-up model, she sings “Why don’t you love me…when I make me so damn easy to love?” And she does make it easy. Beyoncé tends to the garden and washes dishes. She mops floors and shakes her rump in bathing suits. And dusting off all of her Grammys, she obviously brings home the bacon—even if she burns it in the pan. Why a man with even half a brain isn’t giving her all his love baffles me. Not to mention the lace lingerie (whip included) she sports in the bedroom. Yeah, I think she’s a keeper. I’m also pretty sure someone knows that already.

Melina Matsoukas, who also directed Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” and Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance,” shot this playful, sexy clip. Give it a look after the jump.

What do you guys think? Is she giving Bettie Paige a run for her money or what?

    loves it!

Beyonce is a great singer and a fantastic entertainer, and just like Christina Aguilera, she is way too talented to put so much focus on her “sexy”image. Damn, Madonna’s impact in the industry is undeniable, but now every female singer does the same thing…wear sexy clothes, play up your sexuality and voila…

What happened to singers like Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Nora Jones?

      • Jonathan

Because Sheryl Crow, Jewel, and Nora Jones are not 2010. Plus Beyonce has always done the sexy thing. Why is it people always get all worked up when a female singer gets sexy or naughty? It’s 2010 not 1970.

      • Sandra

Because it’s tired, and commonplace and absolutely pointless. How many times can you wear “sexy” clothes, or look at the camera with a comehither look or shake your half-uncovered ass before it loses its potency? I can understand people like Britney or J-lo doing that, they can’t sing and they lack musical training and skills, so they have to razzle-dazzle us into forgetting about their shortcomings. But beyonce?? Aguilera?? Lady Gaga?

They are all talented musicians and singers, they don’t need all that crap…

I LOVE HER!!! She is the best. No One can stop the Queen.

    • Momo

Uh oh, Aretha Franklin is going to eat you up for saying that.

Monroe? Get your Pin Up Girls straight. This is clearly Betty Paige.

  • Zoey

She looks like Betty Page in this, which only signals my approval.

  • kat

i wish i could properly express how much i worship her. she’s beyond amazing…

    • Fatima

I echo this bit of crazy with all my heart.

I love the video so much. The song is hot also. Beyonce captured the 50s pinup era perfectly. I’ve always said that she reminds me of the great bombshells from the 40s, 50s and 60s with her beauty and hourglass figure.

  • Iris

Melina also directed Beyonce’s Upgrade U video. Melina was put on the map with that video. The song and video are fire. This was always one of my favorite songs from I Am Sasha Fierce. I’m glad that she made a video for it.

  • junior

I wish the song was as good as the video but nevertheless, go Beyonce!

  • Josephine

Beyonce has been referencing Betty Paige every since the Check Up On It video. She must be one of Beyonce’s favorites. The song and video are so cool. I love them both.

  • Christy

The song is so hot. It sounds like nothing on the radio right now. The video is amazing. Love the frustrated 50’s housewife theme.

  • Heather

Beyonce is so fabulous. Talent and beauty. What an awesome combination.

I like her, but what happened to that break she promised she’d go on? C’mon Beyonce, i like you but u’ve gotta give me some space. Come back next year!

    • Fatima

You do have a point. Especially considering this song was a bonus track and there are no apparent plans to release it as a single. I would ask what the point was, but this is far too fun and creative to complain about. She’ll take a break when she finally gets pregnant :)

Fatima girl…I know u love yourself some B, but there are about 10 dance remixes of this song that were released right after X-mas. I actually got the remixes the same week I got the dance remixes of “Video Phone”. It was indeed intended to be the next POP single off “I Am…Sasha Fierce”, but when “Video Phone” failed to generate any buzz, Sony dropped promotion on the single.

      • Fatima

Interesting. I think the duel single attempt for Sasha really killed the album’s momentum. It worked for the first round, but the rest ended up cannibalizing each other. I always thought this was one of the better songs on the album.

      • Phil

Morning Fatmia!! It appears that every blog onb the world wide web seems to have covered this video premiere…I’m Wondering if the hype will translate into Sony rethinking of working it as a summer pop single…afterall they did hget the uptempo “Sweet Dreams” to ride to the top oif the charts last summer…And in case you want the dance remixes they’re by Jump SMokers, Lost Daze, DJ Escape & Tony Calluccio, and Karmatronic amongst others…Happy Cinco De Mayo y’all!!

  • Ellen

The song is killer. The video is epic. Beyonce is amazing.

  • afrob

Straight up Betty Paige! Excellent video!
