Some awesome female talent there seeing as they’ve got Martina, Miranda, Carrie, and Faith performing. That and the great cause they’re supporting is more than worth the price of admission. If they could get Trisha and Reba to join in that’d be perfection!

Amy Grant, but no Vince Gill? Tim but no Kenny? Miley, but no Billy Ray?

You all sound extremely sitpud! If you dont like what she does and how she does it then CHANGE THE CHANNEL! Stop acting like she is in your living room controlling your remote. Fact is she has and is growing up, maybe you are all the ones that should watch your actions and take responsibility for what you let your children watch if you dont like it. She isnt 10 anymore so you should smarten up and stop expecting her to be!

I wouldn’t call Michael W. Smith “country talent,” but this show looks pretty great. I love Nashville.

  • Sista

Glad to see some aid going to Nashville

  • Helen

Why don’t some of these stars actually just donate some money themselves? A quarter of a million won’t set any of them that far back.

  • Lacy

Why the heck is Miley Cyrus going to be in this thing? Little miss “I hate country music because its corny” should be kicked out of Nashville for insulting one of the things that really drives the city’s economy. Besides, Taylor Swift can attract all the “tweens”. At least she’s grateful to the city.

  • Jessica

As far as donating money, Taylor has already donated $500,000 and I’m sure the others will follow suit!!!

  • hater

I would buy a ticket just to throw an egg at Miley Cyrus.

  • aa

I would love to go to the concert, but a Tuesday? Seriously? Not an option for travelers.

  • Monica

Yeah, what’s with the Tuesday date…would love to go but seriously, I can’t on a Tuesday because I am out of town. Also I agree about Miley…lose her, she can’t sing anyway and get Kenny & Brad..oh, and Kellie Pickler!

  • Samantha

Helen, i’m sure many of the stars do give some of THEIR money but do you realize just how much MONEY they can raise with a concert like this. I guess you are one of those democrats that hate rich people.

    • Gitrdun

Crunch the numbers…the arena capacity is 20,000. Times $75 a ticket. That is only $1.5 million. Then you have to minus expenses. So how much is really raised?

  • Nashville Resident

The people here bashing the stars should be ashamed. This show is called Nashville Rising. Let’s take a hint and rise above petty insults and be adults. Miley is just a teen age girl give her a break. All democrats do not hate rich people. Stars volunteering should be thanked not questioned about how much money they donated. Be better.

      • Kinuthia

palloEDUCATION AT ALL LEVELS OF COURSE!!! people hlsuod know the real threat of this deadly disease. having a controlled sex life (which is one of the easiest means of contracting the virus) with only one partner might greatly reduced this ailment. i believe this is where we can have complete control, in contrast to accidental infected blood transfusion, or mother to foetus infection where there is little we can do. people hlsuod stop being too greedy about sexual relationships. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE!

    • Mehmet

damn i really dont eebemmrr this comment lol anyways well maybe where u live but here AVRIL is more famous than Miley.. and Avril is a LEGEND i mean no offence to Miley but.. avril is way better that her

  • Jacky7777

I just love Tim & Faith- they are such a awesome couple in love, loving mom and dad- you don’t see that much these days. They have ALWAYS helped people in need foe years, their charity orginations too many to mention. Thank You Tim and Faith!!!!

  • randy anglin

I think it is great that Tim and Faith are arranging this benefit but I hope that people realize that Tim’s band “the dance hall doctors” are backing ALL of the Stars! They are learning ALL of the songs that they will be performing! They (dance hall doctors) deserve some credit here as well!

  • terry

Im not a hater, but i must agree that Miley has no place there.Shes a country music hater, and an untalented air head.Taylor can rep. the teen fans…NO MILEY..!!!
