A very good thing for those who love Bad Things: True Blood‘s third season doesn’t begin until June 13, but the HBO vamp camp’s second soundtrack volume is now streaming exclusively on EW, five days before it hits digital and physical shelves (click here for iTunes pre-order).
What’s on it? New songs from Beck, Lucinda Williams and Elvis Costello, and the Band’s Robbie Robertson; covers by M. Ward and “Bad Things” theme song singer Jace Everett; plus classic tracks from Bob Dylan, 13th Floor Elevators, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Eels, Chuck Prophet, and more.
Find the complete track listing below, and sink your teeth into the full stream after the jump:

3. “Bad Blood” – Beck

Cool- I will definitely buy this!
darn, I was REALLY hoping the Beck song would be “Time Bomb”…
How come?
Timebomb was on last season’s soundtrack, wasn’t it?
I made a better season 2 true blood cd by myself with time bomb and i will rise up plus some other better songs.
May I ask which songs you used for your cd?
STP still rocks!
Oh man, a Jace and CC duet? They can do Bad Things to me anytime they like!
man! I think VV Brown’s “crying blood” would be epic awesome on this disc. Or some Florence + The Machine? Love the m. ward get, though. come on ,june 13!
How about that awesome track by the Dead Weather, “The Difference Between Us,” which was used in the trailer for this season?
I really love the music of this show… AND love that picture as well! Anna & Stephen have so much chemistry.
I can’t wait for Season 3. In anticipation, I just bought the score on iTunes today, have season 2 on Blu-ray pre-ordered, and will definitely download this next week.
Why are the last 4 tracks not stream-able?
Sorry guys, I accidentally pasted in the bonus version listing with 18, not 14 songs. The player is working fine!
So there are 4 bonus tracks? Where is that version located since I can only find the version with 14 songs??
when i first saw the tracklist I blathered on about how Howlin’ Wolf’s versions couldn’t be matched. well, they weren’t but they’re by no means bad. very cool songs so far.
love that costello is watching true blood. snoop and jay-z is watching tru blood, you me everyone are watching TB!
Where the hell is Teeth by Lady Gaga? It was practically made for True Blood!
Totes agree! They could use even more pop.cultural references the show is practically made for it
great tracks I wish they could integrate the songs with the actual show some more.
This soundtrack is better than Season 1! But I agree, there are some other songs that they definitely could have added to this soundtrack.
