Been a U2 fan for the last 25 years, and saw U2 twice on the last US leg of the tour (Foxboro and Raleigh), and have tickets to see the final NJ show in July. Had a feeling when I read “emergency” surgery that it would be more than just the first few shows postponed. Take it easy, Bono, and don’t worry about us fans, we’ll be ready and waiting to rock when you come back in 2011.

Crispy maybe your grey matter if you have any is what happens to be crispy. I am certain you are a young kid, most likely not even a musician either to know anything. Same goes for Ando or possibly crispy is the same person. At any rate your just a young kid. Hey I can understand your into new stuff for kids, U2 has been around in excess of 30 years and usually perfroms to crowds in excess of 70,000 people worldwide, every continent; to people of all ages. People that go to U2 concerts are diverse in age, not just people who were around when U2 started out. Many are much younger. I would say the age range is anywhere from 10 years old to 60 for the most part.

Crispy it is ok to have your own tastes in music and msuci styles but is lame to even bother putting others down or to knock musicians who have dones so much for helping fellow human beings worldwide. You really have no clue what ur talking about. But you can have your own dislikes and likes in music. Music when it comes to preferences is very personal for the music listening crowd. There is also a distinctive difference when it comes to most musicians who are truly musicians will undstand and appreciate all musical styles for what they are. It is idiotic and immature to knock other artists especially who have had so much huge success for decades. The facts are the facts kid. Time to grow up.

Bono, I seen you U2 for the first time in Edmonton in 1997 for the Popmart tour. I believe it was the first time U2 was in Alberta Canada. It was absolutely one of the best shows I have seen in my life. I had also seen U2 in Calgary in 2001.

I have always been a huge follower of U2 and not only appreciate the musical styles U2 offers for sound but also for the great humanitarian efforts that you have endeavored with Bono, to make a huge difference in this world. I hugely appreciate this because the world needs help in so many ways.

Bono, I hope all goes well and I would say take your time and get better so we can all see you perform again with U2 next year. IM sure many of us feel the same, you are in many peoples thoughts and prayers. Get well Bono and take good care of yourself so you can be at 100% again. Best wishes to a speedy recovery comrade.

By the way I am a drummer and have been playing since you guys started out :)

    Best Regards Bono
