How’d Janelle Monae do? Hope she sold at least 15k!

    • she sold around 21K and is at #17

A shame. See me in 40 years & lets see if people are still listening to Glee music vs Stones’ masterpieces.

If you listen to “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” then you can do both!

Please…anything that the Glee people do is horrible. They take a great song like “Walkin’ On Sunshine” & mix it with Beyonce garbage.

    • Michael

Why is it a shame? Because you think your taste in music is better than everyone else’s? Get over yourself and let people enjoy what they will.

The Stones aka the world’s greatest rock band have perservered for over 40 years.

The Rolling Stones is already legendary. and this is a reissue of their 1972 album. an amazing feat.

  • JC

Thats some low numbers for all the top 10 …. Blame P2P

  • LOL

Most people already own the Stones disc in some form.

The Beatles sold 89,000 copies of the remastered Abbey Road in less than a week back in September and another 500,000-plus of the rest of their catalog, not including the box sets. So: Is it the economy that counts for the smaller Stones sales? Is is that the Stones have already had reissue after reissue? Or is the CD business just completely collapsing as all of your music freeloaders download your music illegally.

  • Barry

I do but it didn’t stop me from purchasing the CDs to get the 10 “new” songs.

  • couchgrouch

saw Nas and Damien on Leno and they were a joke. people just downloaded the bonus cuts off the new Exile. in a few years Glee will be fighting it out with Susan Boyle for most used cds clogging the bins at used cd stores. pointless passing fad.

Nas & Damian created some amazing music with their album. If sales were a representation of quality their album would have sold A LOT more copies.

I am in my late 30’s and do not listen to the Stones. There are many older artists that I listen to and appreciate but the Rolling Stones are not one of them. Not a fan. But, I have all of the Glee albums & will listen to them for many years to come because most of the songs they sing have been around for several years/decades, some that I’ve grown up with, so not, but I enjoy them just the same. The songs that the kids sing, for the most part, are not new songs, and some are definitely classics. So, just because the Stones are “legendary” doesn’t make me want to listen to them or appreciate them any more.

You could definitely see your skills in the paintings you write. The world hopes for even more passionate writers like you who are not afraid to say how they believe. At all times follow your heart.
