No way should they retire. Long may they continue to say “Up yours” to the cynics!
Saw them in ’97 and ’99. Great shows! Missed them in ’05 so I definitely would pay to see them when they do it again. Bad part is that I’ve heard Keith has arthritis and his rhythm will not be as tight probably.
well, I’m 20 years old and I haven’t seen them yet, so yeah, they should keep going, at least till Ive seen them live. For they’re my favourite band of all time (tied with The Doors and there just aint no chance of seeing Jim Morrison live, you know ;D)
leave em alone I never hear people say chuck berry should retirew or bowie of (rest peace) bo diddley I’ve loved em all my life but 20 years ago I became deaf after accident when see up dated pictures of em its like old friend come calling and visiting they found something 45 years ago that worked and still does I’ve been hearing same stuff about them retirin since 1969 (I’m 55) it was and is and always will be THEIR MUSIC that keeps em on bthat stage
Ive seen them Four Times and the
Steel Wheels tour was the Best,Last
Tour With Bill Wymen, Yes theydo
need new songs ,and Mick needs to
slow down and sing not see how much he can Sing ,The Barn Doors OPEN
As long as people are showing up and cheering , why stop? I have a feeling these guys will need to carted off the stage then they will retire.
