Image Credit: KanyeUniversecity.com/blogThis afternoon (August 11) Kanye West premiered “See Me Now,” featuring R&B queen Beyoncé and Charlie Wilson of Gap Band fame, on Angie Martinez‘s WQHT Hot 97 radio show.West came to the station to drop off the joyous track. He opens the cut with trademark braggadocio and comic flare rapping, “I’mma need you to kill all the hypocrisy / This is an aristocracy / I’m Socrates, but my skin more chocolatey.” You can check it out on his blog. Actually, the first verse is the one he debuted two weeks ago while standing on top of a table at Facebook’s headquarters.
Speaking of the album, one that’s been clouded with mystery, West slyly let a few cats out of the bag. “They keep on telling me not to say that it’s November 16,” West said of it’s release date, before laughing about his tight-lipped Def Jam label. He also revealed that among others, legendary hip-hop producers Pete Rock and the RZA have assisted on the project. In addition, rap empress Nicki Minaj and G.O.O.D. music label mate Kid Cudi will be featured on it. And this Friday West plans to release the remix to his rebellious first single, “Power.”
What do you think of “See Me Now”? Does it make you excited for his November release? Let us know.

icant wait to hear that one i love bey and kenya
I’m tired of ghetto music.
Jolie, Shut your hole, girl.
Julie is right! Aristocracy?? More like Ghettocracy.
Go back to the hood, ‘homeboy’ *Rolls Eyes*
Racist pig. Especially movieman, that is one of the most racist things I’ve heard all day. You just don’t say things like that.
Jolie and MovieMan…kindly refrain from abusing the word “ghetto” until you’re able to use it in the proper context. “Ghetto” does not equal “Black” or “rap.” If you are not a fan of rap/hip hop, then simply find a non-ignorant way to say so.
Oh, and MovieMan…check your facts…Kanye is not and has never claimed to be from “the hood”. It’s a shame how people are unable to express their criticism without reinforcing negative and ignorant stereotypes.
So wait, is it ghetto because they’re all black or because it’s rap music?
Gap Band…Beyonce??? Ghetto? Really?
I know exactly what you mean! I’m so tired of white trash music…it makes my head hurt as much as ignorant comments like yours.
Sadly, My boyfriend and me broke up a month ago. yeah.. i’m young ,beautiful, lonely and still hurting.i may be in need of someone to love..still..My friends told me about
A g e l e s s c u p i d .C’ o m. and i got curious about it.. they met their boyfriends there.,It’s the best place to meet a older boyfriend or a younger girlfriend. i cant risk myself..So i got a username(flyerdu2000) there in order to find a new boyfriend.is it wrong?
As someone who’s white, I am going to point out that Beyonce is a world wide super with a very large fanbase made up of multiple nationalities, backgrounds & ethnicities. I find it horrifying that she would sing a song with the word “N!gga” repeatedly since she makes anyone who’s not of African American origin look incredibly foolsih & disrepectful for singing along. Why would she make such a song?! Because other than “Ego” and “Diva” (and of course “Single Ladies”) her last double album failed to really reach her Urban fanbase. So yes, she is going all ghetto on this song. Don’t call someone racist when clearly Beyonce is being racistt by singing such lyrics in the first place. Its really super low class to throw the bigot card around when someone is using the N word for the hell of it and promoting deplorable values, K?
* worldwide superSTAR, sorry for the typo
It’s great. His lyrics are top notch, and Beyonce KILLS the hook. Great track. I’m so pumped for this album!
Three Legends. Amazing.
Kanye????Beyonce???? AND Legendary Charlie Wilson on ONE song?????? This song will be a HUGE hit off of star power alone.
I dont really like it. I love all of them but I expected the song to better than it is…
Do not let this clown back at the VMA’s..I can’t stand him!!! Stop buying his stuff!!! He is not above all of this pleae he needs to learn you don’t treat people like this!!!
Who cares? Kanye is a loser. I hope his album flops and shame on Beyonce for working with that A-hole. I can’t wait for Kanye to just go way. I hate him and his ilk.
Kanye and Beyonce, both A-holes so far up their own a-sses they probably cant tell it smells up there. they both need to go away for a really really long time,.
lol there is no way in hell his album will flop, it’s one of the most anticipated albums of the years stupid
Y’all don’t think its a tad ironic that he drops this new single with Beyonce a day after he is announced as a VMA performer after last year’s fiasco with Taylor Swift?! And then dropping the “Power” Remix with Jay-Z this Friday? Sure its all album set-up…but guaranteed that Beyonce performs with him at the VMAs as an attempt to wipe last year from everyone’s memories. MTV is again giving him a chance to clear his name…lets hope he don’t mess it up AGAIN…
Im SO glad Beyonce worked with Kanye West! i can’t stand Taylor Swift getting fame off the REAL talented people…i’m sure Taylor Swift is a nice girl, but come on…she was an unknown to many before “one of the greatest videos of all time” was unleashed to the world…LOL, i’m tired of the Taylor Swift crap…that WOMAN is a slightly above average singer at best, and autotune works wonders on her voice…
Jay, I TOTALLY agree with EVERY WORD in your post. Beyonce and Beyonce = GENIUS. Swift is mediocre.
Love it.
Already seeing the whole Taylor-Kanye thing up here…eh…anyway the track is alright it is not anything special. Plus I love Beyonce and all, but Uncle Charlie Wilson kinda stole the spotlight on this song, especially since Kanye is in more or less words “God’s given gift to music”…sarcasm.
i hard the record i loveit are lot queen bee is amazing and kanya is the best i cant wait to buy it
I like the song but I can’t get past the N word sorry. And I am suprised Beyonce used the word. Maybe I just getting old.
Yeah I wish she hadn’t used the N word either. However the song has a nice swagga to it. But I’m buying the album no matter what because I am officially and forever Team Kanye.
This is a sad song, breaks no new ground and is pedestrian at best.
I hope the rest of his album is not in this vein. He sounds ancient.
I went back and gave this song a second chance. Ego enough for the everyone in the room. If this becomes a hit – it is no wonder the music biz is in the toilet and nothing is selling anymore – this “new” material sounds creepy.
Did you even listen to the song? What’s creepy about it? The song is a feel good song! How does it sound ancient? I think you’re just saying things.
