Image Credit: Jeffrey Ufberg/WireImage.comAfter recovering from an illness this past weekend, Justin Bieber was back at it last night last night for his concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The 16-year-old pop phenom came bearing gifts. MTV reports that things began as they usually have during Bieber’s My World tour, with Jessica Jarrell and Sean Kingston opening.
But along with Bieber’s set came some surprises. First was veteran R&B group Boyz II Men, who did an a cappella of their “On Bended Knee” with the Biebs. Next came Usher to perform their collaboration off of My World 2.0, “Somebody To Love.” Then fellow teen icon Miley Cyrus took the stage for “Overboard,” followed by Will Smith’s son, Jaden, who sang “Never Say Never.”
Taping for his 2011 3-D biopic, Bieber certainly pulled out all the stops yesterday. Have you ever been to one of his shows?

justin bieber is the best. . .
justin bieber is the new king of pop.
justin bieber will never b the king of pop
So true. Has anyone read any of the reviews of this concert? I think this says it best: He did an OK show, but he relied on gimmicks like multiple guests and flying sets to keep his concert momentum. Despite the hype, he’s no Justin Timberlake or Michael Jackson.
To be honest, if you weren’t a kid, you’d have expected a lot more from a performer who sells out MSG. Being 16 isn’t an excuse not to be engaging — or, at least, charming.
In a way, Bieber’s biggest mistake was inviting his mentor, R&B star Usher, and pop princess Miley Cyrus to share the stage with him. Those two performers were all poise, confidence and style — only highlighting Bieber’s flaws as a live performer.
yes he will
sher he will.so shut up.
no, he is not.
He can be in other people’s view… I think he almost is…
That is such an insult to the real King of pop I can’t believe you think a 16 year old who has been famous for a year and a half is the new King of pop. 5 years from now, when you’re 16 years old, you’ll see how much of a phase Justin is. He may have catchy songs but this kid’s 15 minutes of fame will run out before you know it. The real King of pop will always be the best.
I’ve been to a Bieber concert about a month ago but he didn’t have all those cool people with him! All he had at the one i went to was iyaz… I’m kinda mad at the Bieb now :p …NOT! I still love him!
