Now with millions of albums sold, it appears he’s planning to take it back to simpler times and release an acoustic album. On Saturday (Oct. 16), the teen sensation asked his fans what their favorites are from his first two albums through his Twitter page.
“curious…,” he started. “What is your favorite song on MY WORLD and MY WORLD 2.0?? If you could remix any song with another artist which would it be?” Then Justin shot his music director Dan Kanter a line suggesting they, “make an UNPLUGGED album for the fans for the holidays….or maybe we already did…hmmmm

“maybe we need to give everybody an UNPLUGGED acoustic album with that new song I cut in Hawaii for the holidays…thoughts???” he continued. “..so an UNPLUGGED album for the HOLIDAYS????” That he’s playing a cruel joke on his almost six million followers is highly unlikely. Bieber’s rep declined to comment on the possibility of an acoustic album. But he apparently has a date for its release set. “On November 23rd the Unplugged Acoustic album comes out! Taking it back to how we started,” Bieber tweeted Oct. 23. “Spread the word.”

He’s sure done a lot for being 16 this year! My goodness, album that came out in March, summer tour, numerous TV appearances, signing fans’ autographs and so forth. Does the kid ever sleep?

People are free to decide what “real” music is to them. Perhaps Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, etc is the music that maryroseragos connects to; just like you connect to the music of The Beatles and U2.
@ Maureen: Thank you for being level-headed in your response (which is something I rarely find in the Bieber-Twilight thread), however, as a musician, I think I may know a bit more about what constitutes good music more than most of Bieber’s 8 year old fans.
Every album he’s released have just been EP’s, with 7 or 8 songs. He’s already released acoustic versions of “Smile” and “Baby” so this shouldn’t surprise anyone. Def Jam could release this disc on Dec. 14th and be platinum by the end of the year, esp. with all the kids who’d buy it with iTunes gift cards over the holiday week between Xmas and New Years. He’ll release a new song on it, NOT a holiday single, and Def Jam will work the single leading into his 3-D movie opening Valentine’s Day weekend. There’s no MAYBE here Bieber fans ….
My 2.0 album has 10 songs.

I’ve been using this pad with a variety of games and I’m very ipmressed with its performance all around. It feels great and the rumble function works well in all of the games I’ve tried that support it. I have only a couple of minor complaints: the first is that I have to unplug the cable when playing certain games (e.g. Mage Knight Apocalypse) or strange things will happen (the camera goes nuts). This is apparently a bug with a number of Saitek peripherals, though, and not just the P2600. My second complaint has to do with the FPS button. It’s placed just so that it is possible to bump it with a thumb in the throes of gaming, and when it is activated all of your controls are switched to FPS mode (i.e. they don’t work anymore). This can be an issue of varying concern depending on what game you’re playing. Granted, if you are able to run the configuration software you can disable the FPS mode switch and the button will function like an additional button, but as I’m running XP x64 I don’t seem to be able to run the config software. Other than that, I love this gamepad a hell of a lot more than any of my console controllers I’m contemplating plugging it in to my PS2 s USB ports to see if it would even work right now. I would NOT use this for FPS mode, but I grew up on the keyboard/mouse combo (except for Goldeneye and Perfect Dark) so using a controller seems sacreligious.
