Image Credit: Christopher Polk/Getty ImagesLil Wayne has announced his first major tour since leaving prison last November. His “I Am Music II” tour will hit arenas in 25 North American cities between March 18 and April 29.
Weezy’s opening acts will include his Young Money protégée Nicki Minaj, Miami star Rick Ross, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and Beastie Boys DJ Mixmaster Mike.
A press release announcing the tour confirms that Wayne’s Tha Carter IV is expected to drop some time this spring.

Babe, you really did some good acintg. I responded with a WTF are you talking about??? Apparently, him and the field producer had that all planned which I believe was BS because really it was the beginning part to turning my wedding into a circus. I really wish the backstory had been shown or at least more of the 7 days that they were filming because america only saw maybe 2 and crap happened every day, hence the exhausting look I have on the episodes. That’s going to be an exciting touring package with Lil’ Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake and even Travis Barker and Rick Ross and the Beastie Boys DJ! It has that modern hip-hop with some old-school hip-hop mixed into it! This will give Weezy a chance to get some performance time in.I’m sure his live set will be visual and conceptual while keeping it hip-hop! They’re hitting all the big cities and markets!
