I like Black and Yellow, but it makes me mad when radio can’t stay on top of things. F**king Perfect deserved to be number one, topping iTunes for over a week, but due to poor radio play compared to Grenade or Firework, it’s sinking. Also, I’m sick of We R Who We R being so high (number 12 I believe); can Ke$ha please get a new single going here?

I think the explicit song title is a bit of a turnoff that it can’t hit No. 1. She had to change the title to Perfect so radio people won’t say the swear word on the air. But this is Pink and she doesn’t hold back with what she says in her songs!

Amen! I like she does pop but it’s got that edge that makes her stand out. She may never be as big as Britney, but she’s definitely got more artistic control.

As in the Ke$ha song. :)

Yeah it just seems to be taking quite some time; it would help if she hadn’t released a single that shows nothing new creatively from her.

Blow is her best song in my opinion.

The Dr. Dre jam is the best song up there. Skylar Grey just nails it.

skylar and eminem sound freakin good together

      • Jonathan

I don’t agree that it’s the best one, but I do love it. I’m ready for Skylar Grey to drop a song going solo.

THIS IS THE MOST ANNOYING AND TERRIBLE SONG I HAVE EVER HEARD.

I am so pleased that Wiz Khalifa hit No. 1! I think the Super Bowl a few days ago moved it to No. 1! But I have to hand it to Bruno Mars for staying at No. 1 for most of January with Grenade! He’s had a good run, but it’s time for other songs to take that spot. Britney’s song is another song I’m hearing a lot more too so she might return to No. 1 in a few weeks.

Dr. Dre is No. 5? His other song Kush stalled in the 30s but this is great that he’s back in the top 10 after over a decade! He always comes out with quality songs! And Far East Movement moves 9 to 7! That song’s taking off too! I think that Bruno and Katy’s songs are cooling down a bit with their slips to 2 and 3.

With Dr. Dre and Chris Brown debuting at #5 and #11, respectively, it is clear that sales carry a bigger weight on the Hot 100 (a stark contrast to pre-1999, when a song only had airplay to rely on unless it was sold in a tangible format). This said, we should expect Britney to fall out of the top 10 (despite a solid gain in airplay), Adele moving into the Top 40 (not such a bad thing) and Lady Gaga making a big impact with only four days of sales under her belt.

    Was denkt Ihr?

    Tommy
