I’m definitely buying tickets to this tour!

  • Michael

Soooooooo excited. I’m really looking forward to this!

They blew me away with their Grammy performance. Bruno’s album is awesome… need to listen to Janelle some more, she’s got a VOICE!!!

  • PeterBilt

Monae is weak. Her crowd surfing and slamming the mic stand was so contrived and ‘fake rocker’ it was lame.

    • Mike

I’m sooo glad you have an opinion. Do you have other opinions too? Cuz you’re like so insightful and stuff.

      • Jaded

Wow, Mike–pretty salty about someone just giving an opinion on a message board, huh? How do you handle it when someone insults something you like to your face? Do you like cry and stuff?

      • Brian C.

        Really Mike? Anger issues?

    • Janice

Oh that’s right only “real rockers” whatever the hell tha means, are allowed to do that riiiiight.

  • keith

Bet this will be a great show. I’d love to go.

Monae is ridiculously talented. I agree that slamming the mic stand is a bit contrived, but that girl can SING! And dance…. check out the “Tightrope” video if you need proof…

  • naomi mars

Bruno mars good luck on the tou your amazing

Never heard of Monae before, but I was completely blown away by her performance. Might have been the best of the night.

Janelle Monae is a visionary! Her album is so well-crafted and her voice is amazing. Bruno’s voice is also stellar. These singers will complement each other well on tour. I know they’ll do their own thing, but I can’t help but hope for a duet released as a single…

totally agree that the mic thing was contrived but i saw her at jazzfest in new orleans this past fall. i didn’t know much about her when i saw her and i can tell you without a doubt she put on the best show at the festival.

she can sing and she is a fantastic entertainer.

i will def buy tickets to see her. never seen bruno live. is he any good?

    • martin

pardon me. it was voodoo fest.

  • ethel merman

I love Ms. Monae. Listened to Archandroid all morning. Bruno I prefer just on the radio.

  • Mark

I thought Mars’ performance was nasal, off key and strained at the Grammys. Shameful that he won that award.

    Will skip this tour.

  • kat

Janelle >>>>>>>>> Bruno Mars. She’s incredible and the Archandroid is flawless. He should consider himself lucky to be on tour with her.

  • Dee Jones

I`m gonna buy Monae`s next album. She`s incredibly talented and should`ve won the grammy (Cont. R&B Album) but she`ll win won day no doubt. Bruno should write some songs for her.

This will be a great Tour, I’ve seen Bruno Live in Concert and he is completely better live than on his album. I heard he had a cold from an insider of the Grammys when he did The Grammy performance. I know how well he is live, and Janelle is also more than amazing! I think they both should be very lucky to have each other. With or w/o Janelle on the Tour Bruno can sell out, his name and his success right now is going to help her build a bigger fan base b/c right now she’s kinda underground although she is truely amazing.

  • Kevin in Dallas

I like Bruno Mars. He have a couple of nice songs. Janelle Monae doe seem like an original artist but I can not get into her music. It is not for me. Wish them both success.
